This is a cosy cottage for two converted from part of an original Welsh stone barn. Fully equipped it provides a place in summer or winter for those who wish to get away from it all. The grounds are ideal for four legged friends. For the more adventurous the coast is within easy reach (about half an hour by car) with boat trips or the Pembrokeshire coastal path to explore. One can even take a trip over to Ireland with ferry ports less than an hour away

Pets are charged at £15 each per week. Towels £3 per set.

Accessibility
The walk in shower is suitable for the less able and the cottage has wheelchair access.
Outside
45 acres of grounds including woodland and a trout lake are for the use of guests (a small charge is made for fishing). A heated outside swimming pool is available for sharing by guests from April to September. A portable barbecue is also available on request.
Coast/Beach
The rocky north and sandy south coasts of West Wales are within half to threequarters of an hour's drive.
Travel
A car is essential to explore the beautiful countryside of West Wales. The nearest airport is Cardiff Airport approximately an hour and half away. The ports of Fishguard and Pembroke Dock are less than an hour's drive away.
Distances
The county town of Carmarthen is 16 miles away but there is a small store and post office in the village for everyday essentials.

We ask for 25% with the booking form and the balance is payable six weeks before the date of arrival.

Owner profile
About the owner
The original property comprised an old georgian mansion (now demolished) and numerous outbuildings in a derelict state. Over the past 10 years we have gradually repaired and converted several of the buildings, restored the trout lake and improved the garden and grounds. We live in one of the converted barns and look after seven cottages within the courtyard.
We are pleased to welcome guests and their pets to this beautiful area of Wales.

We bought this property for its beauty,peace and tranquility. We love walking in our woodland and watching the changes throughout the year.
We appreciate the easy access to sandy beaches to the south and the rockier coastline around Cardigan to the north.
