The cottage is in a prime location to sandy beaches with good surfing and mountain walks or biking. There are a variety of quality theme parks for children and shopping and multi screen Apollo cinema in the nearby country town of Carmarthen.

Outside
The cottage is close to the owner's house. It has it's own gated driveway and the front leads to a terraced lawn with a meandering stream flowing through the garden into the main river. The property is surrounded by mature fir trees and a large eucalyptus tree. There is ample seating around the garden, on the hill and by the river. We have a chicken run and vegetable garden with polly tunnel and Moroccan craft show room. There is a play area for children and barbecue facility with Moroccan lanterns to light up the evening. Across the road there is a small lily pond in three acres of land and 100 meters of river access for fishing.

15 minutes drive to sandy beaches, 30 minutes drive to mountain walking.

18 hole golf course 3 miles from the cottage.
Skiing
Dry slope skiing and toboggan run 30 minutes from the cottage.
Special interest holidays
Teaching English as a foreign language courses for budding teachers. English language tuition taught privately onsite. All at an additional cost.

The nearest airport is Cardiff international - 1.20 hrs.
Bristol international is 2hrs.
Car ferry from Ireland - 1 hour.

There are a variety of supermarkets in the area - the Cooperative is open until 9pm daily and 5 minutes drive from the cottage. Tesco, Morisson, Lidle, Aldi are all in Carmarthen.
Meidrim -3 minutes drive to the local French Bistro and pub.
St. Clears -5 minutes drive to the Indian, Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shop and including 2 banks and 2 local butchers.
Carmarthen - 15 minutes drive to a greater variety of restaurants, Public Houses, a Leisure Centre, coffee shops, a new shopping centre including high street stores, Cinema complex in Carmarthen.

We like the location because it is close to the sea and mountains and within easy access to the market towns. There are many attractions for both adults and children within close proximity.
