Home has been newly furnished with quality, even down to the egyptian cotton linens. The pictures tell the story! In a beautiful gated golf community near the Catalina foothills. Back patio provides privacy and stunning desert/mountain views. Pool area is 7 minute walk from the home and also offers lovely desert and mountain views and is hardly ever in use. Gym area also adjacent to the pool. Amazing walks in the desert foothills surround this property, great for wildlife viewing and birding. If hiking/biking is more to your liking than we are 10 minutes away from one of the top destinations in Arizona being Sabino Canyon. Free passes to this are included in the rate. Home is also 10-15 minutes away from great restaurants, shopping, museums, galleries and University of Arizona. If horse back riding is more your taste, then several large dude ranches nearby to get that true Southwestern experience. All the comforts of home are here, just bring your toothbrush!

Accessibility
House is all on one level and wheelchair accessible, particularly the shower in the master ensuite.
Outside
Backing on to nature's garden- lovely desert flowers, trees and cactus everywhere. Back patio is very private with lovely 4 seat patio set (brand new) and Weber BBQ for your enjoyment. Large shared heated pool also in lovely setting and less than 10 minute easy walk from the house...pool hardly ever used because most homes in area have their own pool- see the pictures. Gym housed in building at pool and has complete Nautilus set, treadmills, etc. for those of you looking to keep up with your fitness. Area around house is a gorgeous backdrop of mountains, cactus, flowers and stunning sunsets. The golf clubhouse is a 7 minute easy walk from the home where reasonable breakfasts and lunches to be had on their terrace overlooking the final hole and manmade lake-see pictures. A great place to unwind with a few drinks and watch the sunset. Home is in gated community, so very safe for women travelling solo. Community is one of the best in state, with million dollar homes throughout.
Golf
Backs on to 9th hole of Arizona National Golf Course- a stunning course that was built right into the mountain and meanders through cactus and desert vegetation and beautiful million dollar homes.
Skiing
Also close to Mt. Lemmon, the US southernmost ski resort- about 15 minutes drive away. Also offers amazing walks and hikes in the spring/summer.
Travel
Tucson International Airport is 45 minutes away. Car hire is essential since everything in Arizona is spread out- lots of land here!
Distances
15 minutes from downtown Tucson (population about 1 million), 90 minutes from Mexican border for great shopping, 2 hours from awesome lake with all kinds of watersports. Great shopping also at Tubac arts village, about 45 minutes from the house. For star lovers, we are about 15 minutes from one of the state's largest observatories. Biosphere is about 45 minutes away and offers desert and tropical gardens for view. Grand Canyon is 5 hours drive away. Arabian horse farm 10 minutes away.
Further details
Supermarket easy 10 minute drive from home with lots of choices. Shopping runs gamut between beautiful malls, unique Mexican style shopping plazas and artists enclaves. Lots of great restaurants of all types within easy drive from home. Home feels like a private secluded setting, but yet close to everything you could possibly want.
