Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. A daily rate can be paid which will be pro rata of the weekly amount. Arrival time is from 4pm. Departure time of 10am can be extend if at least 4 weeks notice is given

All towels are provided within the villa (not beach towels) and a changed of bed linen is provided in each bedroom along with blankets. The villa will be completely cleaned ready for your arrival. The dustmen collect twice a week. |
Notes on accommodation
Our villa is furnished to a high standard for our own holidays and therefore it is equipped to a very high standard and with a great deal of care. There is a cot and highchair for use free of charge. A telephone in the kitchen and master bedroom with free local calls and able to receive international calls.
There is heating for the pool (extra charge). A child safety barrier can be used which runs along the whole of the pool for peace of mind. Patio doors have security locks fitted. The villa is fully air conditioned and has heating if required. More photographs available in request.

Accessibility
The property is on one level and was built in 2005. Very large shower in master bedroom.
Outside
Relaxing pool area overlooks a grass area with plenty of room for sun loungers (4) and has a large patio table with 6 more chairs. The pool area has a lanai screen with florida glass on one side for privacy. The extended pool deck area enjoys full sun. The large patio and table has a light and ceiling fan over, this area is nicely shaded. There is a tennis court and a children’s play area on Highgate Park, 2 minutes walk away.
Coast/Beach
Highgate Park is in the middle of Florida between both coasts, Cocoa Beach on the East coast and Clearwater Beach on the West coast are within easy reach. Kennedy Space Centre, Tampa and Busch Gardens theme park are also just an hours drive away. The I4 is only a short drive away from Highgate Park which has easy access to all the theme parks, including Sea World and Universal Studios and all Disney Parks.
Golf
Champions Gate Golf Course designed by Greg Norman is 10 minutes drive away. It has 2 premier 18 holes courses - a National course and an International course. Highlands Reserve Golf Club is on the I27 and Polo Park East has a 9 hole executive golf course also on the I27. There are many more golf courses within easy reach of Highgate Park.
Travel
Orlando international airport is only approx 30 minutes drive away, Sanford airport is 45 minutes away. Sanford airport is smaller and more efficient than Orlando. Also Tampa airport could be considered when booking flights and this would be only approx 1 hours drive. Car is essential.
Distances
The list of places of interest is huge and would suit all tastes from Disney, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens and Sea World, to the beautiful beaches at Sarasota, or watch a space shuttle launch at the Kennedy Space Centre, to see an American basketball game in downtown Orlando or watch baseball in St Petersburg! All within easy driving times.
Further details
If you love to shop then this is the place to be! There are a number of designer outlets and the Florida Mall has Sears and Macys department stores. There is also a new huge shopping centre opened 5 minutes drive from Highgate Park - The Posner Centre - at the moment (September 2008) there are:- Target Super Store, JC Pennys, Best Buy (Electrical Goods), Dicks Sporting Goods, Michaels (Arts and Crafts) and a couple of other shops now opened but it will expand and expand!
There is a Walmart Superstore 5 minutes drive up the I27 together with a community library and post office. There is also a Publix supermarket with pharmacy, bank, take away restaurants, and a family Applebees restaurant just down the road from Highgate Park. The 192 is only a short drive away with more restaurants than you can imagine!
