This villa can sleep up to 16 people. Great for large groups or two families sharing? The 30x13ft Pool and 8 person Spa/Hot tub, both electrically heated, and together with the 30x10ft covered Lanai and the 24x10ft Sun Deck, face south and have the sun all day. The rear of this villa is not overlooked on any side. The 50ft Private Boat Dock and 9000lb Lift are on Deep Water with easy access to the Gulf via our South Gulf Cove Nature Reserve. With Port Charlotte City only 15 miles away and being so close to all 8 local 'sugar sand' gulf beaches, plus several great Golf courses, you will enjoy the best that the Florida South West Gulf Coast can offer. Located on the beautiful Cape Haze peninsular. On the South West Gulf Coast, between Venice, Cape Coral and Sanibel Island. It is only 40 miles north of Fort Myers and SWF International airport. It lies within the South Gulf Cove Nature Reserve. Just 15 miles south west of Port Charlotte city. 10 miles south east of Englewood.

Notes on prices
Summer Special offer: All weeks to the 19 December, now reduced to £600 per week, plus cleaning and taxes. All rates are for all groups up to 12 people. Extra guests are charged at £10 per day each. Plus the fixed cleaning charge of £80 per stay, Florida Sales Tax @ 7% & Tourist Tax @ 5%. Discounts: Groups of 4 & under get a 2.5% discount.
Stays of 3 weeks get a 5% discount. 4-7 weeks get a 10% discount, 8-11 weeks get a 15% discount. And any bookings of over 12 weeks get a 20% discount.
Changeover day
We are very flexible on change over days as we know, not all flights can arrive on a Saturday! So, talk to us before you book your travel date and we will see what we can do? Some dates may carry an extra daily fee as it can be difficult to sell odd days!

Notes on accommodation
South Gulf Cove is mainly a rural community. Most homes like ours, are on Deep water as this area is very close to the access for Port Charlotte Harbour, Myakka and Peace Rivers and the Gulf of Mexico. All types of fresh and salt water fishing, sailing/boating and enjoying the wonderful wildlife. We provide FOC a full range of fresh & salt water fishing gear. But best of all, this area is known for it's beautiful and safe, Sugar Sand Beaches; all the interesting and gorgeous shells and sharks teeth that can be found are some of the best along the whole Gulf Coast. It has the cleanest, clear and safe warm swimming waters you could ever wish for. They are just wonderful for kids of all ages? Villa Safety: All doors and windows that lead to the Pool/rear area, have an independent safety alarm system fitted, so that, it will warn you if anyone opens any doors or windows to the Lanai/Pool. You can feel safe in the knowledge that none of your children can get outside without you knowing!

Accessibility
This villa was constructed with people that have some mobility problems in mind. All on the ground floor with large doors and open entrances, small steps and walk-in Showers that can take small wheelchairs.
Outside
There is a 30 x 13ft heated pool with a separately heated spa/jacuzzi that seats 8. The rear of this villa faces south and has the sun all day. We provide 4 sun loungers with side tables, an outside table and chairs to seat 6. The covered lanai is 30 x 10ft and the sun deck is also over 30x10ft. the whole rear of this villa is fully caged and is not over looked on any side. There is a 50ft private dock and a 9000l boat lift. Great fishing can be had from this dock and then the fun of cooking the 'catch of the day' on the villa bbq/gas grill? So, how good dad say he is at this? Boat hire: we have arrangements with a local boat yard. We can arrange your boat hire for you at very good discounted rates. Car hire: we have arrangements with a dollar car rentals. We can arrange any car, at any airport for you, also at very good discounted rates.
Coast/Beach
You will be very close to our 8 wonderful local 'sugar sand' beaches which are all within a 20 minute drive. They are some of the best shelling and shark tooth collecting spots along the South Gulf Coast. Thay are all very clean and safe swimming waters, that are controlled and patrolled regularly by the state nature watch officers. All have Toilets, Changing rooms and BBQ/Picnic areas. Parking is just $2 per day on most beaches. We provide FOC a full range of Salt & Fresh water fishing gear!
Golf
There are 10 great local Golf courses that are all within a 30 minutes drive, including 3 championship courses and a floodlit, 24 hour course just 6 miles away. All courses welcome children over 8, and hire out all the equipment you will need. This is just a few of our local courses: 1. Duffy’s Golf Club. (Floodlit) 2. Lemon Bay Golf & County Club. 3. Travel
Airports: Tampa 90 miles (1.5-2 hours). Fort Myers 45 miles (.75-1.5 hours). Bradenton 45 miles (.75-1.5 hours). St. Petersburg 75 miles (1.25- 1.75). Miami 120 miles (2.5-4hours).
Distances
Nearest Supermarket and Petrol/Gas stations is just 4 miles away. Nearest restaurants and take-outs are all within a 15 minute drive. Port Charlotte is the nearest city with all the shops, restaurants, cinemas, banks and other outlets you would expect in a good sized city. We list in our Villa Manual over 20 local restaurants that we like and will recommend.
Further details
This location is great as a central point for all of Florida's wonders. Just 1 hour from the Everglades, under 2 hours from Disney, Universal and all the other theme parks and less than 4 hours from Miami and then the Keys. And yet you are already within our own local South Gulf Cove Nature reserve.
Booking notes
A deposit of 10% of the total amount is required at time of contract to secure your dates. The balance will then be due 90 days before your arrival date. Payment can be by US Dollars, GBP's or Euro's. We have accounts in The US, UK, Italy and Ireland so bank transfers or any type of Check/Cheques are acceptable.

This was our second time renting Barry's home in Cape Haze and we had a wonderful time once again. The home is beautiful, the pool and hot tub are a nice size. The Lanai area is huge.
