The living room is graced by a breathtaking cathedral ceiling and dramatic wall length sliding door that leads to a glorious lanai and pool. Changeover day
There are no hard and fast rules regarding changeover day, therefore flexibility rules. For arriving guests check in time is anytime after 3pm and for departing guests check out time is anytime up until 10am.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is air conditioned throughout with the added benefit of room co-ordinated ceiling fans in all areas and on the lanai. Heating is available, should it be required in the winter months. Heating of the pool (during the cooler months) is included in the total rental cost at no extra charge. The pool and lanai area faces due West so from mid morning until sunset the area is bathed in full sunlight. Shade is available from sitting under the lanai. Your favourite CD's and radio programmes can be heard via the high quality inset Lanai ceiling speakers and entertainment system. The home possess a 5.8ghz digital telephone system which allows free local and international calls within the U.S. and Canada. There are 2 bicycles, pool toys, beach chairs, a beach umbrella and cooler boxes for renters to enjoy and use.

Accessibility
The villa is on one level and has standard width doors throughout the property. The front door is double width. However, the bathroom doors do not offer disabled facilities. There are wide sliding doors to access the pool area.
Outside
Set within an acre of land, half left to natural Floridian Palmato and Cabbage Palms, Pine trees and grass. Planted to the front and either side of the circular driveway to the home and garage are Royal Palms and Foxtail Palms. There are also low growing shrubs set within attractive stone to the front beds either side of the tiled foyer entrance. The spacious outdoor screened area measures 46ft wide by 18ft, within this area is the rectangular heated pool which measures approx 25ft by 12ft. (no additional charge made for pool heating). The wonderful oversized covered lanai area (25ft by 15ft) boasts a large counter top with cupboards and a wet bar for entertaining. The area also contains a selection of very comfortable seating arrangements for dining, entertaining or for watching the nightly colourful Floridian sunset. Furniture includes, circular table, 4 Armchairs additional matching 2 chairs, coffee table, love seat, chaise longues, gas barbecue and inset ceiling speakers.
Coast/Beach
There are many wonderful white sandy beaches that stretch for miles all within easy reach of the property. Englewood Beach is a 15-20 minute drive away it has warm Gulf waters, shells at the wrack line where shorebirds seek their sustenance and opportunities to see dolphins frolicking. A boardwalk, barbecue grills, picnic shelters, a playground, volleyball courts, restrooms and changing facilities are all on the premises. Other near beaches include Bocca Grande, Manasota Key and Stump Pass.
Golf
For the golfers amongst you, the area boasts in excess of 20 great and differing courses all within 15 miles from the villa. Bobcat Trail, Riverwood, Kingsway, Port Charlotte, Longmarsh, Rotunda, The Hills, The Palms, Boca Royale and Heron Creek, to name but a few. Further details are available in a directory in the villa. Be aware it is not unusual to see the odd 'Gator' at the waters edge along with turtles and the odd snake crossing the fairways.
Travel
Car hire is essential. Tampa international airport is 1¼ hour. Orlando international airport approx 2 hours. Fort Myers international airport 40 mins. Miami international airport approx 3 hours.
Distances
Port Charlotte town centre including the shopping mall, 16 screen cinema complex, bowling alley and numerous restaurants catering for all tastes is 10 minutes away. Visit Punta Gorda historic district including Fisherman’s Village from which you can take fishing and boat cruises and enjoy the unique shopping experience with a variety of restaurants is a 15 minute drive away. Walt Disney World is 2½ hours. Busch Gardens at Tampa is 1hour 15min. Sarasota 45 min. Naples 1 hour 10 min.
