Our Florida home is situated in the quiet area of Longmeadow, Rotonda. The villa, together with the pool and lanai area is south facing and overlooks a wide canal where you can eat breakfast watching the sun rise and eat dinner watching the sun set. The pool has the added benefit of Electric heating to guarantee that the water will be the right temperature - whatever the weather. There is a dock where you can watch the local wildlife - herons, egrets, even the odd alligator. The villa is open-plan with cathedral ceilings and has cable TV, DVD player, CD/radio player. The villa is close to an excellent range of shopping malls and restaurants and within 15 minutes drive of the white sandy Gulf Coast beaches. The Rotonda Golf Courses are within a few minutes drive and within a 20 minutes drive will bring even more fabulous golf courses.

Rental cost is paid in US dollars to our agent on arrival. There is a discount offered for 4 week rentals. For bookings within 1 month of departure please contact the owner.
Changeover day
This can be flexible. Check-in is after 4 pm and check-out is before 10 am.

All bedlinen and bathroom towels are provided. The pool and lawns are cleaned and checked weekly. The villa will be prepared and cleaned prior to arrival and will cleaned after your departure. Additional cleaning can be provided at additional charge. |

The villa is fully air-conditioned. The pool has graduated steps for entry. The master walk-in shower has a very low step for easy access. High speed Internet access is now available.

Outside
The private 30ft pool can be electrically heated. The lanai has table and chairs for outside dining. There are loungers on the extended pool deck. A gas barbecue is provided.
Coast/Beach
A 15 minute drive will take you to the stunning beaches at Englewood and Boca Grande.
Golf
There are 5 local Rotonda Golf Courses within a few minutes drive, numerous other fabulous courses within 20 minutes drive.
Special interest holidays
There is tennis, bike hire, boat hire locally and information is provided in the villa.
Travel
Rotonda is a 1.5 hour drive from Tampa, 3 hours from Orlando and 4 hours from Miami. There is a local airport at Fort Myers or Sarasota.
Distances
The nearest main shopping mall in in Port Charlotte - a 15 minute drive and the Outlet Mall at Ellenton is a 1 hour drive north on the I75. The Ringling Circus Museum and Art Gallery is a 1 hour drive north on the I75. For nature lovers, there are numerous National Parks within a 2 hour drive. Busch Gardens is a 1.5 hour drive north on the I75 and Disney/Universal theme parks are a 3 hour drive to Orlando.
Booking notes
The rental cost is paid in US dollars to our agent on arrival. A deposit of £100 per week is payable on confirming a reservation and this is refunded on your return from the USA (less any serious breakages/damage). If you have to cancel the booking before departure and we are unable to re-let the property, the deposit is forfeited. Pool heating by electric pump is $90 per week. A long stay discount for a 4 week rental will be given.
