Located close to bike, run, hike trails and kayaking in the gulf or on one of the many spring fed rivers (Kayaks and bikes included). 45 minutes from Tampa and 90 minutes from Orlando theme parks. 5 minutes from nature preserve and many golf courses this location would suit the outdoor lover. This coast of Florida is called the nature coast for good reason. The Weeki Wachee River is minutes away and meandering its waterways is the best way to see the real Florida with its spectacular wildlife. Go to Pine Island Beach Park for a day of sun and be sure to stay for the most beautiful sunset that postcards are made of. Fort Desoto beach is a little more than an hour south and is voted the countries number 1 beach for recreation and bird watching.

Outside
Landscaped beautifully, majestic oaks tower the house protecting it from the heat of the day. A sunny back garden with chairs and a butterfly garden. A pair of kayaks with car carrier are stored behind the shed. Screened lanai with hot tub and bistro table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
Pine Island is our local beach. It is a 10 minute drive and makes a great bike ride through the salt water flats (paved). The beach is on an estuary so the water is not deep (great for kids) and fishing. It has clean bathrooms and a great little beach hut that serves good food. There are also BBQ’s on the beach provided. St Pete beach 1 hour, Fort Desoto 1.25 hour. Homosassa 30 min. Honeymoon Island 50 mins. Weeki Wachee Springs (crystal clear spring water for swimming and boating) 5 mins.
Golf
This is the golfers hot-spot...any direction you go in leads to a golf course as an avid golfer myself, I would be glad to advise you and make tee-times. Just to name a few, World Woods boasts the counties most famous two courses, Pine Barrons being rated top 50 in the US and very reasonably priced in the off-season. We are minutes from Silverthorn, Oak Hills, The Dunes and Southern Hills.
Travel
Tampa International airport 50 – 80 mins depending on traffic. Limo service is available. Orlando International 1½ hour. Sanford International 2 hours.
Distances
Shops, restaurants and bars are all in close proximity.
Further details
Organic food store is 10 mins. Massage and acupuncture is close by and comes highly recommended and can be arranged.

Book by email or phone. We require a 20% deposit with full payment 14 days prior to arrival. $100 security deposit is required plus a further $100 for pets fully refundable.
