Situated on the 2nd Fairway

This property is a lovely 3 bedroom, spacious villa that will easily sleep 6 people. It has been decorated to a high standard throughout, and is fully air conditioned. The living area comprises of an open plan lounge, diner and kitchen. The kitchen and lounge are fully equipped for all your needs. The kitchen comprises of cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer with icemaker, microwave oven, waste disposal unit. There is also a large washing machine and tumble drier for your convenience along with iron and ironing board. There are 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and TV. The third bedroom is a twin room. Each bedroom has ample storage space. There is also a pull down double sofabed in the lounge area that can sleep further 2 guests if required. The home has a heated outdoor pool, with beautiful views over the 2nd fairway.

Changeover day
All guests must vacate the villa by 10am on the day of departure. Check in is after 4pm on day of arrival. This is to allow for the full cleaning to be completed.

Accommodation

 

Notes on accommodation
Should pool heating be required this is paid locally at a small charge to the management company who are on call 24 hours a day should any problems arise. The telephone can be used free of charge for all local calls. However guests are recommended to purchase phone cards for international calls. These can be purchased at any of the supermarkets and use a free phone number to direct the calls.

Accessibility
The Villa is on one level with a front garden and driveway leading to the garage. There is one small step at the main door Giving easy access to the property there are no steps on the garden path from driveway to front door. The pool is fitted with a childproof safety net and the patio doors are also fitted with a security bar.

Outside
A private pool which can be heated if required is situated to the rear of the property overlooking the Golf Course. The pool is also fitted with a nightlight which is controlled by a timer. Poolside furniture is supplied for the use of the guests. No glass tableware is permitted by the pool and a supply of unbreakable items are stored in the kitchen for use at the pool. Guest also have use of the community clubhouse and pool which is situated a short distance away.

Coast/Beach
The Gulf Coast beaches are about 50 minutes away by car and clearwater beach should not be missed by visitors.
A day trip to Tarpon springs a few miles north of Clearwater is also well worth visiting. Where dolphin trips and the sponge diving boats can be seen.

Golf
One of the biggest attractions of the Southern Dunes area of Florida are the golf courses. Southern Dunes is the most challenging and dramatic golf course in all of Southern Florida. Sprawling over a 7,200-yard hillside with 100ft of elevation changes and massive high-lip bunkers, this golf course will test your imagination and skill. With something for everyone, the five sets of tees allow for golfers of every ability.
Situated a few miles away are numerous other courses such as Diamond Back, Cypress Woods, Willowbrook and Ridgewood Lakes. All of which boast par 72 courses and are suitable for golfers of all levels. Golf prices start from as little as $30 per round and includes the cart hire. Single golfers are welcome on all courses.

Travel
Tampa airport is approx 50 minutes.
Orlando International approx 40 minutes.
Sanford Airport approx 1 hour by car.
Disney attractions 20 minutes by car.
Many golf courses within a short drive away.
While freshwater fishing can be found for Bass and other species only a few miles away.

Distances
Eagle Ridge Mall is about 10 miles south from the home and includes most of the large shops such a Sears and Dillards and JC Penny. In the Mall is a large Bowling Alley and Cinema.

Further details
Large Super Walmart is situated just outside the compound and is open 24 hours a day. A number of restaurants are within walking and driving distance. While snack bars such offering burgers and pizza are available just outside the compound or can be delivered if required. Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club is a gated community and has security patrols 24 hours a day.

Booking notes
A deposit of £100 per week is required at time of booking and full payment 10 weeks prior to departure. A refundable security deposit £150 will also be required 10 weeks prior to departure date and will be returned after satisfactory inspection report has been made.

Barrry and Jeanette Archibald Had a fantastic 2 week holiday made all the better by the excellent accommodation. Villa is spacious, comfortable and very clean with all of the essentials. It is Ideally situated with a large Wal-Mart at the entrance to the resort and numerous eating places nearby.
Very easy to drive to either International Drive or any of the Disney Attractions. Would recommend villa to anyone looking to have room to chill whenever they want during the holiday either inside watching TV. or relaxing by the pool with a cold beer after a hectic day at the attractions or shopping.
Have had a US holiday previously staying in a hotel and the difference having a whole villa to move about in is phenomenal and makes the holiday. Would be ideal for a family holiday as all of the bedrooms are large and airy,the air conditioning throughout is a must.
