Kitchen: The kitchen is self-contained and overlooks the lounge and dining area. Fully fitted with all modern kitchen appliances including cooker, hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and juicer. Crockery for 8 guests. Child's high chair.
Utility Room: Washer/drier, vaccuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: 2 large sofas, coffee table, lamps, widescreen cable TV, DVD player and CD hi-fi. Dining table and 6 chairs. French windows open out onto a small patio area with table and 2 chairs, with views over the lake and surrounding area.
Other: Sleeps 6 people in comfort in two double bedrooms and one twin room. Sofa bed in the lounge sleeps another 2 people. Baby's cot and high chair. The apartment is so close to Disney that you can watch their firework display from the lounge every evening.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and all bed linen is provided, except for beach/pool towels. The apartment is professionally cleaned after every visitor and maid service can be arranged during your stay.

Accessibility
This is a ground floor apartment with very easy access. Car parking is right outside the front door of the apartment.

Outside
The apartment has its own private patio area overlooking a small lake, great for enjoying morning breakfast or for watching the evening sunset. The resort's pools, hot tubs, sun loungers, restaurants, bars, gymnasium are all less than a minute's walk from the apartment. The resort has its own white sandy beach on the shores of Lake Devenport. There are several children's play areas with climbing frames, slides and swings. The site is all wired up for easy internet access. There is a wide variety of evening entertainment, kid's club, beauty salon and spa. Sporting facilities include includes tennis, beach volleyball and basketball. For the less energetic, just take a leisurely stroll round the beautiful landscaped grounds and perhaps drop into the Tradewinds bar for some typical Caribbean hospitality and refreshment.

Coast/Beach
The resort has its own sandy beach on the shores of Lake Davenport. Datona Beach is 60 mins away.

Golf
Golfing paradise. There are over twenty courses within a 30 minute drive of the resort. Most offer club-hire. Bahama Bay reception can book tee times for you. Disney's own golf course is 15 minutes drive away.

Those who are looking to enjoy relaxing in the sun by the pool, combined with the excitment of the Disney theme parks will have the time of thier lives.

Travel
The closest airport is Orlando International, 45 mins drive away. Sanford International is 70 mins drive away. You can also fly to and from Tampa, and the transfer time is 60 minutes. There are numerous car hire companies to choose from, all of which are based at the airports. A car is essential.

Further details
There are several shopping malls and factory outlet stores on Highway 192, which is less than 10 minutes by car. Most stores stay open until 10pm. Sample the special "Sizzler" steaks and all-you-can-eat buffets. Visit the huge Nike store (about 10 minutes drive away) and bring a large suitcase with you!

About the owner
The property is owned by my wife and I. We live in Wiltshire, UK and we have four children. We bought the property as a place we can use ourselves as a central base for enjoying all the nearby theme parks (our favorite is Busch Gardens in Tampa!). Last time we stayed there, there were 8 in our party and we had an absolutely brilliant holiday. We also let the apartment out to guests when we are not staying there ourselves.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The apartment is in one of the very best locations within Bahama Bay. We like to be within easy walking distance of all the main amenities, but I like peace and quiet at night. Our apartment gives us both these. It has plenty of WOW factor and the feedback I have received from other guests has been 100% positive.
