30ft Heated Pool plus Heated Spa, not overlooked.

Villa Heron View is in South Gulf Cove, on the Cape Haze peninsular east of the Rotonda. South of a line between Port Charlotte and Englewood, North of Boca Grande. This 4/5 Bedroom villa includes Two Master Suites, with Queen Size Beds, French doors to pool. 2 twin bedrooms and 2 family rooms, one of which has a Fold out Queen Bed, so, with cot/crib can sleep up to 11 people. All doors and windows in this villa have a full Security Alarm System that is linked to a central station, with panic buttons for Police, Fire and Ambulance service + Separate Pool Alarms. This villa has a large Kitchen and breakfast bar high chairs Seating 8, Dining area also seats 8, Laundry room & double garage. Superbly furnished & equipped throughout, including Highspeed Wireless Internet, Satellite TV, DVD/Video, CD players in both Family rooms, and full Air-Conditioning. It's on a Deep Water canal, with easy access to South Gulf Cove Nature reserve, Port Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.

Notes on prices
Current special offer: all weeks to 24 December, now reduced to £500 per week, plus cleaning and taxes. All rates are for all groups up to 8 people. Extra guests are charged at £10 per day each. Plus the fixed cleaning charge of £75 per stay and Florida sales tax at 7% and tourist tax at 5%. Discounts: groups of 4 a under get a 2.5% discount. Stays of 3 weeks get a 5% discount. 4-7 weeks get a 10% discount, 8-11 weeks get a 15% discount. And any bookings of over 12 weeks get a 20% discount.

Changeover day
We are very flexible with the length of rental days and of the change over dates, except at Easter and the Christmas/New Periods. We are normally happy to take any bookings over 2 nights. However, sometimes there may be a small surcharge.

Accommodation

 

Notes on accommodation
All doors and windows that lead to the pool area have an independent alarm system, to warn you if the kids try and get to the outside or the pool/spa without your knowledge.
We have a local management company who live locally, to assist you anytime you may need them, 24/7.

Extras you may need:
Hire of Cots or Cribs £30 per week. Inc all linen.
High Chairs £22.50 per week.
BBQ/Gas Grill £30 per week. Inc cleaning and Gas.
Pool & Spa Heaters £100 per week + Tax.
High Speed wireless internet can be used with a small charge of £5 per week plus tax. All local telephone calls are free, including internet connections.
Any calls made other than local will be charged to the Security deposit.

Amenities/Facilities provided

 

Accessibility
This villa was constructed with people that have some mobility problems in mind. All on the ground floor with large doors and open entrances, small steps and walk-in Showers that can take small wheelchairs.

Outside
There is a 30x13ft heated pool with a separately heated spa/hot tub that seats 8. The rear of this villa faces south and has the sun all day.
We provide 4 sun loungers with side tables, an outside table & chairs to seat 6.
The covered lanai is 30x10ft and the sun deck is over 30ft. the whole rear of this villa is fully caged and is not over looked.
There is a 50x6ft private boat dock. Great fishing can be had from this dock and then the fun of cooking the 'catch of the day' on the villa bbq/gas grill? so, how good is dad at this?
Boat hire: We have an arrangement with a local boat yard, and can arrange your boat hire for you at very good discounted rates.
Car hire: We are agents for Dollar Car Rentals. We can arrange any car, at any airport for you, also at very good discounted rates.

Coast/Beach
You will be very close to our 8 wonderful local 'sugar sand' beaches which are all within a 20 minute drive. They are some of the best shelling and shark tooth collecting spots along the South Gulf Coast. The Gulf waters are very clean and safe for swimming. They are controlled/patrolled regularly by the state nature watch officers. All have Toilets, Changing rooms and BBQ/Picnic areas. Parking is just $2 per day on most beaches. We provide FOC a full range of Salt & Fresh water fishing gear!

Golf
There are 8 Golf courses within a 30 minutes drive, including a floodlit, 24 hour course just 6 miles away, all courses welcome children over 8, and hire out all equipment.

Nearest Supermarket and Petrol/Gas stations is just 4 miles away.
Nearest restaurants and take-outs are all within a 15 minute drive.
Port Charlotte is the nearest city with all the shops, restaurants, cinemas, banks and other outlets you would expect in a good sized city.
We list in our Villa Manual over 20 local restaurants that we like and will recommend.

Further details
This location is great as a central point for all of Florida's wonders. Just 1 hour from the Everglades, under 2 hours from Disney, Universal and all the other theme parks and less than 4 hours from Miami and then the Keys. And yet you are already within our own beautiful South Gulf Cove Nature reserve with all it's wonderful wild life.

Not only is this very large, comfortable, superbly presented property, but it is professionally managed with courteous and helpful agents. Well located in a fantastic area of Florida. Great days spent lazing on a beach, visiting the offshore islands and competing with the 'gators for fish, from the boat dock-great fun! Thanks Barry for two great weeks. Booking notes
A deposit of 10% of the total amount is required at time of contract to secure your dates. The balance will then be due 90 days before your arrival date. Payment can be by US Dollars, GBP's or Euro's. We have accounts in The US, UK, Italy and Ireland so bank transfers or any type of Check/Cheques are acceptable.

Hi Barry, I just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time at your villa. The weather was great (Very Hot) and we made full use of the pool and spa, My son was over the moon that there was a Shamu in the pool (As in your pictures).
Out of the three villas we stayed at during this tour, yours was the cleanest, and the best, we loved it. The villa was complete with everything we could have needed.
