Spacious and well appointed, this newer home is located on a quiet road on the south west side of the Island within a 5 minute walk of the "Marco Walk" where there are several restaurants, the cinema and a small number of exclusive shops. It is also within a realistic 12 minute walk to the south beach and a 5 minute drive to Tigertail beach. The home which is tiled in all the main living areas has extra high vaulted ceiling with an open floor plan and a great room with a sitting area, formal dining area, kitchen and breakfast areas. In addition it has a separate den with its own TV. There is a private mesh screened area at the rear with a 28’ heated pool. Facing south for all day sun, it has an outside hot and cold shower; plenty of pool furniture, ample sitting/sunbathing areas and a gas grill (barbeque). Although full size, the pool is a maximum of five feet deep giving the floor a gentler slope. Our home also has high speed internet access (ethernet or wi-fi) - need own PC.

Sterling prices are inclusive of taxes, US dollar prices exclude them (current rate 10%). All prices are inclusive of cleaning on departure. Prices include pool heating in winter months (not needed in summer). Refundable security deposit £250 or $500. Prices subject to change until confirmed.

Outside
South facing private electrically heated pool with plenty of furniture, gas grill (BBQ) and a hot and cold shower. The private pool is full size (28 feet) but is a mxaimum of 5 feet deep giving the floor a gentler slope. 5 bicylces are provided for guest use (2 adults, 1 teenagers and 3 childs) so they can explore the Island at leisure.
Coast/Beach
The beaches on Marco stretch all down the west coast of the island and are uncrowded and unspoilt. Our house is located within a 12 minute walk of the closest pedestrian access to the south beach or a 5 minute bike ride. You can also drive to Tigertail beach in 5 minutes.
Golf
Golfers Paradise is one way of describing Florida and the Marco/Naples area is no exception. There are many excellent golf courses within 30 minutes drive including Lely Resort (with two championship courses one designed by Lee Travino the other by Robert Trent Jones), Forest Glenn, Marriot Rookery, Links of Naples, Naples Beach and Hibiscus.
You can even play golf at night at a local floodlit course!
Travel
Miami international airport is a 2 hour drive away, Fort Myers an hour away and Orlando 3½ - 4 hours.
Distances
Naples is only a 20 minute drive away and with department stores, factory outlet shops and the famous Tin City with its unique small shops, it is a haven for shoppers and bargain hunters. Naples also offers its own beautiful beaches giving even more choice to the holiday maker.

Built around a canal system, Marco Island which measures only six miles by four, is tranquil, idyllic and the perfect place for a safe family holiday in the sun. With its beautiful white sands stretching all down the west side of the Island, the beaches are uncrowded and unspoilt. It is the ideal place for those who enjoy water sports - with jet skiing, boat rentals, fishing excursions and even paragliding available on the Island. Recommended is hiring a boat and sailing to Naples or exploring beaches inaccessible by land. It is almost guaranteed to spot dolphins and if you are lucky wild manatees. You can take an airboat ride on the Island or it is a 20 min drive into the Everglades where you can take an Airboat ride, ride on a swamp buggy and visit an alligator farm.The Island has a number of unique boutiques and shops, providing for all your needs. There is a cinema and over 60 restaurants, 11 of which are a five minute walk from our home. From Marco you can take sight seeing cruises around the Island, a day cruise to Key West and in nearby Naples there is a zoo, miniature golf, go carting and horse back rides in the Mangroves.
Booking notes
For payments in sterling a £75 per week deposit is required, payment then becomes due 60 days before the arrival date. There is a £250 refundable which is returned within 4 weeks of the departure date. US dollar bookings are slightly different please inquire.
Rates include cleaning on departure and on £ bookings all taxes. Pool heating is included in winter month (November through to mid April) - not needed other times of the year.
