Our home is managed by a local property management company who maintain the home and look after our guests to ensure a care-free vacation. There are many local facilities to enjoy, such as baseball courts, children's play areas and lake fishing on the doorstep. Our home is the ideal place to relax after a busy day at one of the many theme parks or shopping malls and a peaceful lake view adds to the tranquillity.

Notes on accommodation
Safe box is included for guest’s peace of mind. All pool doors alarmed for children's safety. Smoke detectors and fire alarms throughout. Fully air conditioned with additional ceiling fans in each room. Many home comforts are provided, such as books, DVDs, games and toys. Solar powered lighting at entrance to property and at entrance to garage, providing a welcome glow upon your return from the many activities you will find to enjoy in the surrounding areas. Strictly no smoking indoors policy and no pets.
Outside
Heated private pool, with pool lighting. Table, chairs, parasol, and ceiling fan under shaded area, and sun loungers with occasional tables. BBQ included. The whole decking and pool area is screened which gives the comfort of a warm breeze, allowing our guests to swim, eat and relax without being troubled by ‘critters’! Newly added outdoor speakers, so you can listen to your relaxing music while chilling by (or in!) the pool.
Coast/Beach
Florida's magnificent beaches are found in either direction from the house. The nearest beaches are Melbourne Beach (approx 55 mins drive) on the East Coast, which is famed for its fishing and manatee spotting. Clearwater is approx 1 hour's drive on the Gulf Coast, world-famous for sandy beaches and calm seas.
Golf
Florida is the world's golf capital, and there are many award winning golf courses on your doorstep. Solvita is nearby, as is The Oaks, and there are many more to be found locally.
Travel
Car hire is recommended. The house is approx 30 min drive from Orlando International airport, and about 55 mins from Orlando Sanford. Port Canaveral is approx an hour's drive away, where you can enjoy mini-cruises to such places as Mexico and the Bahamas.
Distances
Disney 20 mins away, Seaworld 25 mins, Universal 30 mins, Busch Gardens 60 mins, Kennedy Space Centre 50 mins. All distances by car and approx.
Further details
The closest shopping centre contains a Publix Supermarket, Wal-Mart Superstore, Burger King and several eateries, only a five minute drive literally down the road! Historic Old Town with its many specialist shops, evening entertainments and restaurants are only a 10 minute drive away, and there are shops and restaurants to suit all tastes (and pockets!) within a short drive. For the hardened shopper, Mall at Millenia is a 40 min drive away, and the Orlando Premium Outlets are 20 mins away (great for named brands at low prices). Florida Mall which has something for literally everyone is 30 mins away.

To confirm your booking, a non-refundable £200/$350 deposit is required. Full payment, plus a refundable £100 security deposit, to be made two months prior to your departure date. A brochure giving full villa details plus maps and attraction / local information will be sent upon receipt of full payment.

About the owner
We are a married couple with a young teenage son living in South London. We both work hard (in the transport and legal industries respectively), and like to play hard too, so have been enjoying holidays in Florida for the past 16 years. We have made many friends there, and it now feels like our second home!

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We love Crescent Lakes because although it is near to all the much-loved tourist attractions, it is still far away enough to be rural and peaceful! We love nothing more than looking out over the lake in the mornings, watching the wildlife (and the occasional WWII aircraft from the nearby Warbirds Museum!) and generally being at peace with the world. It's very much a residential area, so you get a great feeling of community, and everyone is really friendly. There are horse-riding stables nearby, and a nature reserve, so the landscape will remain unspoiled, yet you have shops and restaurants within just a few minutes drive! Heaven!
Unique benefits of the property
We love the convenience of being local to the tourist attractions yet remote enough to shut out the crowds if we want to kick back and regroup after a hard day's shopping or theme-park domination! The lake view is really very special to us, and certainly not something you would enjoy at any old hotel! We have thought of every home comfort, from wireless internet access, TVs in every room, walkie-talkies (essential in our opinion - don't for one minute think you can't get lost in a Wal-mart!), cool boxes to name just a few. This house is also most certainly not decorated in the chintzy fashion of many other homes who opt for the regular furniture packages!
