Outside
This private 30' x 15' solar heated pool is further enhanced by an electric spa. This patio area also accommodates table, 6 chairs and 6 sun loungers. And for that the dining alfresco an extra large gas BBQ. Everything for our guests to have the holiday of a lifetime.
Coast/Beach
If you don't know the area we have a guest information book in our villa home with lots of info on places to go and things to do. Shell collecting - sharks teeth collecting. Deep sea Fishing and boat hire. Restaurants, shopping, supermarkets and outlets. Boca Grande and four fabulous white beaches. Most within minutes drive of our villa. Other fine beaches include Englewood, Venice, Boca Grande and Siesta Key in Sarasota.
Golf
Golf courses? - 3 being championship size - all within a few minutes of the villa and available to non members at reasonable green fees. Golf is a 'must' for many residents and visitors and in an area where the weather is good and life for enjoying, golf courses come as standard and you will be spoilt for choice. There are currently 6 courses within the Rotonda development and upwards of 30 outside within a 15-20 mile radius. From May to October the courses are quiet and tee times can usually be arranged the same day.
FISHING is a 'must' for the enthusiast and each year the Tarpon game fish gather in the Boca Pass and offer great sport to both local and international anglers. The competitions are held just offshore and spectators get a marvellous view of the boats from one of the lighthouses situated at the waters edge. For a more peaceful day anglers will find plenty of opportunity to take a boat out into the Gulf or the intercoastal waterway and catching a wide range of large fish.
Travel
Tampa 1¼ hour. Orlando and Miami 3 hours. Fort Myers 40 mins. Sanford 2½ hours.
Distances
Our villa is ideally placed for visiting the fashionable district of Venice, Sarasota and Naples. All of these resort lay on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Further to the North are the theme parks and tourist attractions of Orlando (3hrs) and Tampa (2hrs) whilst to the South there is the Everglades National Park (2hrs).

This area is also served by numerous first class restaurants for all tastes and pockets, supermarkets (6/7mins away).
RESTAURANTS are everywhere and you will find friendly and attentive service while enjoying a spectacular sunset or simply basking in the warmth of Florida's weather. Did we hear SHOPPING? Port Charlotte has it's own Mall and Venice which is just a few miles up the road has some very pretty shopping around the coast. There are two discount outlets, one to the north and one to the south.
