Spacious family owned 3 bedroom villa situated in the relaxing Gulf coast area of Florida, located on peaceful, immaculately maintained community. 25 minutes from beautiful beaches. The villa is fully air-conditioned with its own 28 foot pool, ideal for children and adults alike. Cable TV in all rooms. Welcome to use PS2, DVDs, games and pool toys. Community facilities include large pool, tennis courts, play area, volleyball and basketball courts. Golf and all amenities closeby. As well as a spacious combined living/dining room there is also a separate ‘Den’ with DVD and PS2. The villa also has wireless high-speed internet. The kitchen is well equipped with breakfast nook. We do allow pets at our discretion.

Accessibility
All our rooms are on one floor and although hasn't been adapted for wheel chair users would consider that for partial mobility problems the villa would be suitable.

Outside
Large lanai with 28ft x 14ft solar heated pool (additional electric heating during cold periods available at additional charge). View over lake with wonderful wildlife to watch. Four sun loungers and large patio table and chairs for alfresco eating. Beautiful sunsets as lanai catches sun from mid-morning till sunset.

Coast/Beach
Beautiful beaches of Siesta Keys are approx 20-30 mins drive. Maps to beaches and surrounding areas can be found in the villa.

Golf
There are many golf courses within easy driving distance. The nearest being 5 mins from community.

Travel
Sarasota airport is approx 15 mins drive away. Tampa International airport is approx 40 mins drive. Car hire recommended. Orlando airport approx 90 minutes - Sanford Airport approx 150 minutes.

Distances
Nearest Walmart is 5 mins drive with local Malls and eateries within 10 mins drive in every direction. Busch Gardens approx 50 mins and Disney (Orlando) is approx 90 mins. Many other activities and places of interest within easy reach. Many details available in villa and with our Welcome Pack.

There are full detailed instructions at the villa for the whereabouts of different attractions, shops, restaurants. Maps can also be found at the property. The villa is on a walled community with large community pool, Floodlit tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball court and play area which guests are welcome to use. Community is well maintained and very peaceful.

Well, we are home now and it is really hard coming back to reality!
I would just like to say thank you for a fantastic stay in such a beautiful villa! It is by far the best we have stayed in and we have been to a few! I was very impressed at how you seemed to have everything covered - washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs etc! - and the rooms were really lovely! It was such a beautiful view to get up to in the morning and the kids were very impressed with the turtles! The beaches were everything you said they would be - stunning - and we managed to see a couple of dolphins which was great!
Ward – Oct 09 I felt at home the minute I walked through the door, and I know that, given the choice in the future, we won't even contemplate other accommodation so at home did we feel. I hope we left the villa as we found it - it was a joy staying there.

About the owner
Cherwell Manor is our family's holiday home and we try to visit as often as work and school permits. We have two lads, 16 and 14 and two pet Alaskan Malamutes who have to remain behind and have not enjoyed the delights the Gulf Coast has to offer. Since owning Cherwell Manor we have fallen in love with the Gulf Coast and the wondefully friendly people we have met. We plan to spend more time in Florida and explore the rest of the USA. We only let out to help cover the running costs rather than as a commercial enterprise and try to provide the sort of holiday home we ourselves like to stay in. Hopefully we are achieving this based on the positive comments we receive from prevoius guests.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We fell in love with the area and find it to be fairly central for the various activities on offer; The beaches in this area are breathtaking and easily accessible up and down the coastline from the villa. It is on a quiet residential community and although you do have to drive to shops, beaches and restaurants we did want a peaceful holiday home away from the "maddening crowds" yet within easy reach of all amenities. This we feel we have found in Cherwell Manor. Folk who have not holidayed in the US before please note that in fact you have to drive most places, due to the size of the country. Their road systems are easy to follow and we in fact find it easier to drive in the US then you do in the UK! There is definitely something for every age here.

Unique benefits of the property
All I can say is that hopefully guests feel that is "home away from home" with all the extra little touches we have added and that the property is brilliantly looked after by our fantastic management company.
