The Gulf of Mexico is just across the street from us. It is about 120 yards or less than a 2 minute walk.
Golf
There are plenty of well maintained golf courses within a half hours drive.
Travel
Tampa International Airport is 30 minutes by car, and the international airports of Orlando and Sanford approx 2 hours.
Because of its central location on St Pete Beach a car is not essential. There is a trolley bus, which runs from St Pete Beach to Clearwater, and also to the pier in St Petersburg. Taxis are also abundant and very reasonably priced.
Further details
Tyrone Square shopping mall, which contains the large stores of Sears, JC Penney, Burdines and Dillards, and the multi screen cinema, can be reached within around 10 minutes by car, and the outlet mall at Ellenton is approx a 30 minute drive.
Across the road on the beach you can find numerous beach bars where you can enjoy an evening cocktail, whilst listening to live music and watching the beautiful sunset.
Local activities include boating, swimming, walking, fishing, jet skiing, parasailing, and of course golfing. Whatever you want from your vacation, whether it be a family get together, a romantic getaway, or fun packed sporty break you will find it in the tropical paradise of St Pete Beach, Florida.
