The location of our holiday home is within easy reach of the Beaches of Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The beautiful City of Naples is just 30-40 minutes away by car. The white sandy beaches of the Gulf Coast are an easy 10-15 minutes drive away and golf courses for non-members are within 10-12 minutes drive of the villa. There is excellent shopping at Edison Mall, about 15 minutes drive away. If you prefer a little 'Designer' shopping, then Miromar Outlets is also within a 20 minute drive from the house. There you’ll find drastically reduced prices compared to the UK. There are many fine restaurants in the vicinity, excellent leisure activities, and much much more - in fact, everything you could possibly want for a wonderful holiday including, biking, fishing, wildlife viewing, golf, tennis, swimming, snorkeling and diving, water skiing and boating.

Changeover day
Changeover day preferably saturday, but we can be flexible depending on time of year.

Notes on accommodation
Pool heating at a supplement (by request only) £65 per week. Dogs accepted ($200 per booking). Wireless internet Access available. BBQ facilities (by request only). Baby travel cots available on request. End of Stay Clean - £85 for 4 week bookings and also for bookings of less than 7 nights.
Outside
Good size private pool (10x5m) with patio and covered lanai. Pool can be heated (£65 per week). 6 seater table for outside dining. Four full length loungers. Ceiling Fan and surround sound from the family room entertainment unit.
Coast/Beach
12-15 mins drive to Fort Myers Beach, 15 mins drive to Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Naples Beach 35 mins drive. Water sport and fishing galore!
Golf
There are golfing facilities near the villa with non-member facilities.
Travel
Fort Myers Internatinal Airports 15-20 minutes. Tampa 2-2.5 hours. Orlando International/Sanford Airports 3-3.5 hours. Miami/Fort Lauderdale Airports 2-2.5 hours.
Car hire is essential to enjoy the Gulf Coast of Florida, and readily available at all main airports. For best deals, pre-book and pre-pay before you depart the UK.
Distances
Shops and Malls are within 10-20 min drive of the villa. There is a small plaza with fast food outlets, 2 major supermarkets - 2 mins by car.

2 supermarkets, 2 banks, Italian restaurant, Chinese take away, pizza restaurant, nail bar, hairdresser, subway, 2 chemists and post office 1 mile from villa -2 mins by car.
Important information: our house insurance covers our home, and not any loss or damage to your personal items whilst you are staying there. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance!
Booking notes
Completed booking form is required with £250 non-refundable deposit to secure booking. Full balance payable 8 weeks before departure. £150 refundable security deposit required.
Cancellation policy - If you cancel once we have received your forms and deposit your £250 deposit is non-refundable. Between 16–9 weeks a one week rental charge will be payable. 8 weeks or less full payment will be payable.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We first stayed in Fort Myers in 2004.
We also purchased 'The Palms' in 2004 after being delayed for 6 days by a hurricane after our 2 week holiday. We liked the house we stayed in so much that we bought our house in the same community. We now spend up to 3 months a year there.
We love Fort Myers because of the island life-style beautiful beaches, places to shop and a great selection of restaurants. There really is something for everyone there.
The area is easily accessible with Fort Myers International Airport just 15 minutes drive from the house. Miami 2 hours Orlando 3.5 hours and Tampa approximately 2 hours.
