Our beautiful Florida villa occupies a double plot (South west facing) overlooking a large natural lake in a quiet conservation area. The house has been furnished to a very high standard. Both master suites have doors opening out onto the extended pool deck which is equipped with 6 sunloungers, chairs and large table. The pool deck is ideally positioned to watch the sunset over the lake. The house has been equipped to provide visitors with every comfort and convenience they should require.

Notes on accommodation
The house is equipped with 5 bikes, table tennis, Xbox, games, books, video library, DVD player, CD player, wireless broadband access. Free telephone calls throughout the USA and Canada.
Outside
The house is situated on a double size plot of half and acre and has been beautifully landscaped. The pool deck has been extended making plenty of room for 6 padded sunloungers and 8 padded chairs and large table for outside dining. There is a gas BBQ provided. The pool is 25' x 13' and is heated by electric pump (essential in the winter months). Next to the pool is a heated spa.
Coast/Beach
There are several excellent beaches nearby. The nearest are Englewood beach and Stump pass which are about 10 minutes by car. The beautiful beaches of Boca Grande are about 20 minutes away.
Golf
Rotonda is surrounded by many excellent golf courses, the nearest clubhouse being about 1 mile away.
Travel
The nearest airport is Fort Myers - 70 minutes.
St. Petersburg - 80 minutes, Tampa - 90 minutes.
Car hire is essential.
Distances
The nearest supermarket, shops and restaurants are about five minutes drive. The town of Port Charlotte is 15 minutes away.

The villa is ideally situated to enjoy beaches, shops restaurants, tennis, golf, fishing, jetskiing, parasailing, cycling, boating etc.

We are an English family who visit the villa 3 times each year for holidays. Whilst there we always ensure the villa is maintained to a very very standard for ourselves and our guests to enjoy.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We looked up and down the Gulf Coast before finding Rotonda. All the other places we looked at, the houses were all beautiful but the plots of land were all very small. This meant the houses and pools were just a few feet away from one another and they usually backed onto bushes giving no view.
Our plot on Rotonda was just what we were looking for. Set in a third of an acre the villa is very private, having a beautiful open view of the lake which then looks over to the first green of the magnificent Pine Valley Golf Course. Sitting on the lanai looking out, you know you are in Florida and you never get tired of the lovely view.
Unique benefits of the property
Rotonda is in the best position along the coast for the best beaches, places to visit, shopping, restaurants, watersports and has the added bonus of having Boca Grande on Gasparilla island just a few minutes down the road. The area has a real holiday feel to it, rather than just a nice house in a hot climate.
Both of the master suites are located at opposite ends of the villa and open out onto the pool area. There is a TV in the central great room, but there is an additional TV for anyone wishing to view without disturbing the peace.
We found some villas we had rented in the past were very cramped around the pool and so we had an extended pool
area to give plenty of room for sunbeds and pool activities.
