Our fully air conditioned property is located on the links golf course at Fairway Oaks, a quiet residential area two miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Hudson is about 30 miles north of Tampa/Clearwater and a comfortable 90 minute drive from the Disney area. The 30ft x 15ft south facing pool is surrounded by a large deck with ample chairs and loungers. There are 2 master en suites and two twin bedded rooms sharing the third bathroom. Saturday to Saturday booking preferred but can be flexible.

Notes on accommodation
A pool safety fence is available if required when there are young children in the group. Travel cot and baby chair is available for babies/toddlers on request. All bedrooms have clock radios. Ceiling fans are in all rooms and under lanai. Main bedroom has a TV/VCR and hairdryer. Our excellent local management company are available to deal with any problems that may arise. Regret no pets accepted and smoking only allowed on pool deck.

Accessibility
The villa is suitable for disabled people being all on one level, having two walk-in showers and good access to the pool. Please consult owner for individual needs.
Outside
Sliding glass doors allow access from various rooms to the 30ft x 15ft south facing solar-heated pool. Electric pool heating is available at additional cost in the cooler months. The large deck has room for seating on 3 sides with ample chairs and loungers provided. A table enables
al-fresco dining under the lanai. With a hedge down one side, shrubs on the other and an open aspect to the rear it is well secluded.
Coast/Beach
Hudson has a small beach about 5 minutes drive. Other nearby beaches include Pine Island, Green Key, Howard Park, Caladisi Island and Honeymoon Island about 20/30 minutes away.
The huge white sand beaches of Clearwater are about 40 minutes drive South.
Golf
The villa is situated on the Links, a 6200 yard, par 71 semi-private course open to the public. Rates are from about $18 - $30 depending on time of year and time of day.
For the golf enthusiast there are numerous courses within a short drive of the villa. These range from public to private (with access to the public) and resort type complexes. There are courses to suit all abilities.
Booked guests can be supplied with details of some played and recommended by the owners.
Travel
Tampa airport is about 40 minutes drive and Orlando about
2 hours. A car is strongly recommended as public transport, outside of cities, is very limited.
Distances
The local shopping parade is about 15 minutes walk and includes a large supermarket, several small eating/fastfood places, hairdressers etc. Places of interest to visit include: Busch Gardens Safari and entertainment park and Florida Aquarium in Tampa 40mins
Homosassa Springs nature reserve to see Manatees 45 mins
Weeki-Wachi Springs and Buccaneer Bay a water park 20 mins
Tarpon Springs, a Greek sponge fishing town 25 mins.
Disney is a comfortable 90 minute drive.
Further details
Gulf View mall with many well known stores eg; Sears, Macys, JC Penney, Dillards is about 10 minute drive. In addition there are many small plazas with supermarket discount outlets and smaller retail shops. There are numerous eating places within a short drive where you can find seafood, steaks, salads and also various ethnic restaurants, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Greek etc.
Booking notes
25% deposit with booking, balance 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Security deposit £150 for one week, two or more weeks, £100 per week. A discount may be available for 3 or more weeks.
