Full air-conditioned. Broadband internet connection is also available. Cots and highchairs available on request.
Sliding doors leading off the open-plan kitchen and dining area lead to a large, U-shaped upper decking area with designer dining table and 8 chairs with wide parasol. Why not cook an alfresco meal on the gas-fired barbecue? A spiral staircase leads down to large, covered swimming pool that is reputed to be the largest private pool on the whole island.
Outside
One thing is for sure, at 36x26ft and with a sheer waterfall feature it was relined and tiled in the fall of 2008, it is a wonderful place to relax and have fun in safety.
Great Palms hosts the largest private pool on the island (allegedly). Around the pool there are also six sun loungers on which to put your feet up in between dips in the water. There is a comfortable seating area under the upper deck, with three outdoor sofas and two overhead fans to keep you cool on those long, hot Anna Maria Island days. A full size table tennis under cover is available for those wanted some 'ping-pong' action. Also on the lower floor is a double garage with electric opening doors and space for two cars.
Coast/Beach
The beaches have the whitest sand which slopes gently and safely into the blue Gulf Sea with the most amazing sunsets. Only 5 minutes walk from the house.
Travel
Flights from the UK via Gatwick airport land daily at Tampa International airport less than 1 hour drive away. Orlando is only a 2 hour drive away, perfect for those wanting a 2 centre break. Car hire can be booked from Tampa airport.
Distances
Situated in a prime position between the thriving heart of island, Holmes Beach, and the quieter, welcoming community in Anna Maria City, this property is just 5 minutes from the wonderful white sand beach and which brings visitors back to Anna Maria Island year after year. It also offers the perfect opportunity to walk up and around the secluded northern tip of Bean Point and experience the solitude as fishing boats chug to and from port.
Further details
Anna Maria and its adjacent islands have a great collection of restaurants and cafes from formal chic to relaxed and friendly. Some are only a short walk away plus there is a free shuttle bus which takes you all around the island.

The beach is just a few minutes walk. Its a lovely quiet beach with a private access for residents. The islanders are great folk and make you feel very welcome.
Unique benefits of the property
Great Palms is a real unique property on the island. It was designed by an Italian builder who still lives on the island. It's space is fantastic and the interior very chic. From the sumptuous linens, to designer bathrooms and plenty of storage, no expense has been spared in creating something truly memorable.
