The heated pool has a cascade and hot-spa. From the lanai-covered pool terrace, steps lead down to a large wraparound private dock with boat-lift, housing the villa's boat which is included in the price of your rental.
The house is surrounded by a lawn, and shrub-beds with a magnificent King Palm. The immediate area is a palm-tree-lined avenue, and wonderful walks to the river.
Coast/Beach
Obviously South Cape Villa is a waterside haven. Via car or boat the local beaches of Sanibel and Captiva with their beautiful white sand are within easy reach. Cape Coral also has its very own beach and pier, which are just 10 minutes walk from the house.
The famous Fort Myers beach is across the bridge, as is Bonita Springs.
Venturing down the coast Naples and Marco Island are about 45 mins away.
Golf
Florida is a golfer's paradise, and the Gulf Coast has many, many competition-standard courses. The villa has courses within easy distance, and - of course - the fishing and boating to fill the off-days.
Special interest holidays
There are many local tennis facilities. Most particularly the local Yacht Club has some beautiful newly-laid hard-courts. Drop-in sessions all week, pro-coaching and ball-machine hire all available.
Travel
Within 2 mins of river and Gulf Islands by motorboat.
