Regal Palms is a superb complex of properties set in a lovely area that features a heated pool with lazy river, a day spa/fitness centre, and the friendly Regal Palms bar and grill restaurant. The 3 bed 3 bath all en-suite, air-conditioned townhouse offers the best of both worlds being able to be independent with a wonderfully appointed villa, with a complete kitchen, living room and 3 comfortable bedrooms (one with balcony), while at the same time enjoying the facilities of the complex with the famous Highlands Reserve golf course adjacent to the complex. An added feature to this property is a secondary front entrance to the ground floor bedroom, which can be locked from the main house (if required), therefore the property can be used as separate units with a one bedroom and a two bedroom at the same time. Just a short walk from the clubhouse with all facilities. Close to a number of shopping malls, outlets, Golf Courses, and various Resturants, and only 11 miles from Disney World.

Utility Room: Good size utility room with washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, laundry basket mop and bucket, and vacuum cleaner.
Living Rooms: The living area is very much open plan with two sofas one of which can be converted to be a bed. Flat screen TV, dining table for 4 and small patio area outside with 3 chairs.

The property is fully serviced before your arrival with freshly laundered linen and towels. Maid service can be arranged daily at an extra cost.

 

Notes on accommodation
Our home is air-conditioned throughout with ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Cots and highchairs available on request and payable locally. Our home is set in a lovely location, near to shops, restaurants, golf courses and theme parks and is an ideal place to relax at the end of a busy day. The Regal Palms Resort incorporates a 2.5 acre tropical pool complex with two heated pools, lazy river, waterfalls and waterslide. Additional recreational facilities include children's play area, sunbathing terraces, spas, barbeque areas and a poolside tiki bar, music and supervised children's activities. The 17,000 sq ft clubhouse offers a large sports bar broadcasting sports events from around the world, restaurant, games room, day spa, gymnasium and health club with sauna and steam room, state-of-the-art conference centre, banquet rooms, and rooms, and business centre with internet cafe, shops and more. The 3 bed 3 bath townhome at Regal Palms is perfect for a large family or 2 couples sharing.

Our home has stepped access to the front and has stairs up to the bedrooms. With one bathroom on the ground floor.

To the front there is a 2 car driveway with open plan garden and to the rear enclosed patio area with three chairs and open plan lawns.

Coast/Beach
Centrally placed Davenport is an ideal location for visiting the Florida Theme parks, with Disney less than 30 minutes drive, Sea World and Universal Studios not much further. An hour’s drive will take you to Busch Gardens, and the Gulf and Atlantic beaches are accessible in 90 minutes. Both Daytona and Cocoa Beach are approximately an hours drive away. On the gulf of Mexico the beaches of Clearwater and St. Petersburg are approximately a 2 hour drive away.

Golf
The Regal Palms resort is adjacent to the prestigious Highlands Reserve golf club, a 18 hole, par 72 golf course where guests may use the facilities at very reasonable rates (payable locally). A number of other golf courses are within easy reach of the resort.

Special interest holidays
For those wildlife enthusiasts among you, Regal Palms is a great base to visit some of the many wildlife parks that can be found all over Florida. For those interested in Shuttle launches the approx Launch dates are as follows. November 16th, 2009 and February 14th, March 18th, May 14th, July 29th, & Sept 16th 2010

Travel
Orlando International Airport is approximately a 35 minute drive away, Sanford Airport is a 65 minute drive and Tampa Airport is a 55 minute drive away. Car hire is recommended.

Distances
Our home is located only 10 minutes drive from Disney World, with nearby Downtown Disney, Sea World and Universal Studios only approximately 25 minutes away. Close to a number of shopping malls, outlets and various restaurants. Kennedy space centre is 77 miles away

Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking. The balance of payment must be made no less than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday in our home. A $300 USD deductible deposit will be taken at the time of check-in at reception, this will be refunded in full, once no damage or breakages are found in the home. Full booking conditions are available upon request and at the time of booking.

Got back safely last week. Had a great time. Your house was everything you said, found it clean and tidy and well equipped. I have no hesitation in recommending to others. I think I have left a memory card for a digital camera in the house. If the current tenants or the management company have come across it, please pass on my details and I'll arrange to get it back.
Please don’t go looking for it, it’s not valuable and I can’t remember if there were even photos on it.
