Enclosed private inner front courtyard with table & 4 chairs. Lounge terrace patio downstairs with patio table and 4 chairs looking across gardens to one of the nearby pools. There are several heated swimming pools complete with sun loungers. There are also several tennis courts nearby. Terrace off upstairs master bedroom - with table and 2 chairs - with fabulous mountain views. Parking inside carport plus additional parking space.
Coast/Beach
Time to West Coast resorts is approximately 2 1/2 hours by car although there are several coach excursions from Palm Desert to Los Angeles, La Jolla, Laguna Beach etc. There are also trips for whale watching off Monterey - approx 4/5 hours away.
Golf
Palm Desert lies in the Coachella Valley, which boasts over 100 beautifully landscaped golf courses and country clubs. The house is within a few minutes of 16 public golf courses. Exclusive Bighorn Country Club and the new Stone Eagle Club only a few minutes away.
Travel
Palm Desert is approximately 15 minutes from Palm Springs International Airport and approx 2 ½ hrs from Los Angeles International Airport. All the major car hire companies are represented at the airports – Alamo, Hertz, Avis, Skycars etc and can all be located on the Internet.

The Living Desert is approx 1 mile away; the aqua park is approx 6 miles away as is a large children's amusement park

Nestling against the 9,000ft high San Jacinto Mountains, Palm Desert lies in the Coachella Valley, which boasts over 100 beautifully landscaped golf courses and country clubs. San Diego, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Universal Studios and Disneyland are some of the nearby attractions. Palm Desert is an ideal base from which to visit Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Indian Wells, home to many International Tennis Grand Slams, is only minutes from Palm Desert. Palm Desert is a unique holiday resort, with virtually 365 sunny days each year. Temperatures between December & April average 70-degrees F and between May to September temperatures reach 100+degrees F. This is a dry heat with little or no humidity and is therefore much more pleasurable than on, say, the Spanish Costas. Some of the local attractions include the 1,200 acre Living Desert Zoo & Museum, the Palm Springs aerial tramway: a cable car to the top of the San Jacinto Mountains. Multi-screen cinemas with an IMAX theatre, live music and entertainment at the McCallum Theatre and the famous Palm Springs Follies Theatre. There is a delightful night-time street market in Palm Springs every Thursday with stalls selling a range of craftwork, artwork as well as clothes etc. There are approx 6 casinos in the valley with a new casino just off the main Palm Springs high street. There is a vast outlet mall in nearby Cabazon which is worth a visit. A guide to eating out would fill a book, there is just about everything you can imagine and more.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your booking and the full balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure. There is a £100 ‘refundable’ damage deposit to be paid when booking. There is also an 'exit' clean charge of $60 to be left in the condo on departure.
