Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning units in the 2 king bedrooms, triple bedroom and main floor. Central oil heating. Fitness Center/Gym - We have made arrangements with a local fitness center (abut a 2 min. walk from the house) for our guests to have access to their workout facilities. Daily passes can be purchased on site or in advance. An additional charge applies for use of the gym facilities; please inquire for rates.
Accessibility
No smoking indoors. No pets. Families and children are always welcome; the grassy back garden is well suited for for children’s play. Baby cot and high-chair provided free of charge on request.

Private back garden. Deck with outdoor dining/seating for 8. Barbecue. Plenty of free parking.
Coast/Beach
The Jersey Shore Beaches, boardwalks and amusements are about 50km (1 hour by car, 2 hours by train).

Further details
Maplewood village has a selection of quaint shops and restaurants; it also is has a train station, cinema, grocery, pub, children's playground, tennis courts, basketball courts and bike paths. The weekly farmer's market is only a 2 min walk from the house with locally grown fruits and vegetables. Maplewood's small-town feel, yet very short commute to Manhattan, prompted New York Magazine to name it one of the 'top suburbs in the New York metro area' and it has been used as the location for numerous Hollywood films when the scene calls for a classic 'American' town.
Booking notes
Secure booking/damage deposit required at the time of booking; it will be refunded after your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). We accept payments with a credit card via Pay Pal, bank transfer, or personal check in US Dollars. An advance payment equal to 1/2 of the rental rate is required 60 days before arrival. The balance is due 14 days before your arrival date.
