The lounge and pool area afford stunning views across the lake where you can relax and enjoy the day long sunshine and superb Florida sunsets or cool down in the covered lanai. Outdoor dining seats 6 and there are loungers and chairs for sunbathing around the pool. Bring the outside in by opening the panoramic slider doors! The home is fully air conditioned and has a double garage with ample parking and private driveway.

Rental periods of more than 1 calendar month are subject to discount. Late availability booking may also be subject to discount at the owner's discretion. Rental prices are fully inclusive of tax and cleaning costs - the price you see is the price you pay! We do not charge extra for peak periods e.g. Easter or Christmas. The price remains the same throughout the year. Minimum let is 3 days.
Changeover day
Changeover day can be any day of the week. Arrival and departure times can be arranged to suit your specific requirements with advance notice.

Our professional management company ensure the property is cleaned before your arrival and are on hand should you have any queries. All linen, towels and beach towels are provided. Supply of washing powder, soap and toilet rolls etc. |
Notes on accommodation
The property is fully air conditioned and each room has ceiling fans. Should you need it there is central heating throughout. The pool area has a (removable) safety guard which prevents young children accessing the pool. Cots and highchairs are available on request. We especially welcome small pets with responsible owners.

Outside
There is a large garden area at the front and side of the house. The solar heated pool and lanai are reached from the lounge and the master bedroom. It is completely covered. There are loungers and comfortable padded chairs to relax on. Enjoy meals and drinks al fresco at the outdoor dining area which comfortably seats 6. An overhead fan will keep you cool. While away the time watching the wildlife on the lake and just simply enjoy the peace and quiet. A gas barbeque is provided for those prime American steaks and burgers.
Coast/Beach
The superb warm waters of the Gulf beaches of Englewood and Venice are about ten minutes away by car. Not to be missed are the many often deserted beaches and coves all along the coastline. Stump Pass beach and Manasota Key are not to be missed!
Golf
There are five golf courses locally and within a few minutes drive of the house.Golf packages available on request.
Travel
The nearest airport is Sarasota less than an hour away. Fort Myers is just over an hour away and Tampa is about a two hour drive.Orlando international is about a 2 1/2 hour drive.Sanford Orlando is approx. a 3 hour drive. The routes are fairly straightforward and driving is relatively easy especially from Sarasota or Fort Myers. The use of a car is essential as there is no public transport locally.

Englewood and Old Englewood, 8 miles.
Port Charlotte, 10 miles.
Punta Gorda, 12 miles.
Fort Myers, 60 miles.
There are lots of lovely places of interest eg Boca Grande Island and historical lighthouse which is 7 miles and many fabulous often deserted beaches.
Further details
Publix supermarket, banks, food take-away places etc. are a mere 5 minutes away and the town of Englewood with a Wal-Mart superstore and a variety of shops and restaurants is 8 miles. There are many local churches serving most denominations. Port Charotte has a great shopping mall with Macys, Bealls and Sears department stores among others and a great food court. Designer outlets are to be found at 2 locations in Fort Myers and another going northwards at Ellenton-all well worth a visit as many bargains can be had!There is also a designer outlet mall currently being built near Sarasota.There is a great variety of restaurants to suit every taste within a short drive from the house whether its informal beachfront dining or more exclusive restaurants - there really is something for everyone. There are lots of lovely places to discover for yourself and many recommendations in local tourist guides. Many water based activities are available at most local beaches and include sailing, boating, windsurfing, water ski-ing and fishing. We have provided 2 bicycles for those who would like to explore the immediate vicinity of the home which is abundant with wildlife and a few state parks.
Booking notes
A refundable security deposit of £200($400) is requested on booking along with a deposit to secure the booking of £200. The outstanding balance is due 28 days before the rental period begins.
