‘Bahama Bay’ is well known for its beautiful surroundings and easy access to Orlando's theme parks and golf courses. Our apartment is part of the newest development phase and is set back from the tranquil lake and close to the swimming pool. Our property offers 1934 sq.ft. of living space and is finished to a high standard with elegant and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen has more utensils than you will ever need and there is a washing machine and drier in the utility room. The spacious terrace overlooking the lake is perfect for breakfasts and barbecues al fresco whilst the sheltered interior protect the rooms from the fierce Orlando sunshine and temperatures. The resort is built around a bustling clubhouse with its gym, cinema, bar, restaurant, internet cafe, lounge, children's pool and locker rooms, but the setting of the apartments is open, calm and peaceful. For the energetic there is tennis, basketball, walking and fishing whilst the lazy can lounge by the 5 pools.

Both bedrooms have direct access to a bathroom and benefit from doors to screened patio area. There is plenty of wardrobe space and a TV in each room.
Bathrooms: En suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with large corner bath and large shower and WC. Plenty of storage under the sinks and shelves for towels.
The main bathroom is accessed from bedroom 2 and the hallway and includes a tub with overhead shower, 1 sink and WC.
Kitchen: Cooker, hob, larder, fridge, freezer, icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, juicer, toaster, coffee maker, plenty of crockery and glasses, pots and pans.
Utility Room: Washer, drier, iron, ironing board and Hoover.
Living Rooms: 2 sofas (1 a double sofabed) look out onto the terrace and lake and there is a TV and DVD player for entertainment. A separate dining area houses a table and 6 chairs and there is a large hallway in which to welcome your guests.

Plenty of towels, bed linen and alternative pillows are included. The property is subject to a cleaning charge of $75 payable on departure and additional cleaning services can be arranged for the duration of your stay.

 

Notes on accommodation
Bahama Bay is perfect for families with children. There is plenty to keep them occupied outside whilst the apartment remains cool inside, thanks to its sheltered position and its airconditioning and room fans.

Accessibility
Being on the ground floor our apartment is ideal for people with mobility problems. All the doors are wide enough for wheelchair access and there are no internal steps.

Outside
Our apartment looks directly onto the lake and its terrace, complete with garden furniture for 6, is perfect for evening cocktails and al fresco breakfasts.

The nearest shared swimming pool is just 1 minute's walk away with several other pools within easy reach. The main clubhouse pool and associated children's areas are a few minutes walk away or a 1 minute drive if you have lots of belongings to carry.

Unusually for Orlando there is a beach complete with loungers and white sand where children can play and parents can snooze. There is also a kids club if you fancy a break.

The gardens are beautiful and a pleasure to stroll around. Take a peak at the tennis court and lakeside beach whilst enjoying the flowers, trees and fountains. Parking is plentiful and right outside the aparment.

There are 2 restaurants on site and plenty just a short drive away. Happy hour at the Bahama Bay bar is a welcome end to a busy day and the perfect excuse to watch the sunset.

Coast/Beach
Being inland, Bahama Bay brings the beach to you, but you can St Petersburg and Daytona Beach are within easy reach.

Travel
Car hire is essential as attractions, shops and restaurants are a short drive away. We recommend hiring a sat nav system but you must enter Davenport as the county when setting off for Bahama Bay.

Orlando International airport is the closest and is approximately 45 minutes away.

Distances
Disney is 15 minutes.
Universal is 30 minutes.
SeaWorld is 25 minutes.
Shopping outlet 15 minutes.
Golf 5 minutes to nearest course.

When booking our apartment 100% in advance entitles you to 5% discount or pay 10% deposit with the balance being due 4 weeks prior to departure. Failure to pay the balance on time will mean that the booking is cancelled without refund. Cancellation prior to 4 weeks must be in writing to reservations@bahamabayresortflorida.com and will entitle you to a 100% refund of any monies paid. Cancellations received in writing 2 - 4 weeks in advance of the booking will entitle you to a 50% refund.
