Our beautiful villa called 'Shabreeze' is stunning. Set in a tranquil woodland location, if you are wanting luxurious accommodation along with that 'away from the crowds' feeling - you've found it! It has it's own secluded south-facing solar heated pool and spa that gets the sun all day long, set in a spacious fully caged pool deck/lanai area. The villa is maintained, furnished and equipped to the highest of standards and includes well equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms (2 are Master en-suites), optional 5th bedroom in Den/Study room, 4 bathrooms, 3 separate dining areas, and a large living room that looks out onto the pool deck. You also get full use of our gas BBQ and wi-fi! The villa is very close to the fantastic powder white sand beaches of the Gulf coast, restaurants, shops, golf courses, all within 15 minutes. Essential to your holiday is peace of mind that your home is well looked after - our superb local management company are 100% fantastic, and will ensure your stay runs smoothly.

Weekly rates start at £600pw rising to £850pw, subject to time of year - contact Owner for a quote. Our rates stated are fully inclusive of all linens, taxes, and cleaning after departure provided a booking of 7 nights min is made. Optional extras, eg electric spa heat boost to 100degF, cot/crib hire, welcome grocery packs can be discussed at enquiry stage. *Term discounts applied for bookings of over 3 weeks - contact Owner for quote*

Changeover day
Arrival time is normally from 16:00hrs onwards, and departure is normally 11:00hrs. This can be flexible depending on other arrivals/departures, giving sufficient time to prepare the villa for you or the next guests.

Bathroom 4 with WC. bath/shower, accessible from both pool deck & living room.
Kitchen: Fully equipped including 4 ring stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer (+ice maker), hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender. All cookware, crockery & cutlery, including pool-friendly tablewares are provided.
Utility Room: A separate utility room houses washing machine & dryer. Allows direct access into the garage.
Living Rooms: The living room is extremely spacious, provides seating for 8 people, and opens out onto the pool/lanai area - includes the home's main LCD TV + DVD player. A separate formal dining room seats up to 6 people. We also have a mini hi-fi/CD stereo system.
Other: Telephone (for local calls only), air-conditioning, central heating.

Clean towels and bedlinen are provided, which includes spare sets for each bed and bathroom. Our superb local management company will ensure our home is fully prepared and cleaned prior to your arrival.

Notes on accommodation
There is also a dinette area sited next to the kitchens breakfast bar. This comprises a further dining table and chairs for 6 people (separate from the main dining room area).
Al fresco dining is also an option using a dining table and chairs provided out on the pool deck. For the protection of children, there is a removable pool guard available at the property.

Children welcome, long term renters welcome. Sorry but no pets or no smoking allowed. Free high-speed wi-fi internet access provided if you are taking your laptop with you. You are also free to use a secure permanently fixed personal safe we have installed should you wish to.

The garage door has an automatic opening system, which includes a remote controlled device you can take out and use when you are returning back to the villa.

Accessibility
As the villa is single storey, it is therefore wheelchair accessible, and suitable for the elderly or infirm.

Outside
Gas Barbecue, parking, garage, garden, solar heated private outdoor pool and spa/Jacuzzi. Pool/lanai area beach towels, sun loungers and chairs also provided, together with various pool toys. Note: For a small charge, we have the ability add electric boost heating to the spa/Jacuzzi, taking temperature to just over 100 degrees F for that true 'hot tub' feeling. We also have some folding beach chairs which our guests are more than welcome to use during days out.

Coast/Beach
You are very close to the wonderful local 'sugar sand' beaches of the Gulf coast, all within an 8-20min drive from our home. They are some of the best shelling and shark tooth collecting spots along the South Gulf Coast, all very clean and safe swimming waters. Try the fantastic beaches of Manasota, Englewood, Don Pedro Island, Stump Pass beach, unspoilt Gasparilla Island & Boca Grande, plus other exclusive islands such as Captiva and Sanibel Islands - some only accessible by boat

Golf
Choose from over 20 courses that are within 20 miles of our home - some just literally 2 miles away. 3 of these are Championship standard. There is also a 24 hour, floodlit course just 6 miles away. All courses will hire out all the equipment you may need if you've not taken your own.

Special interest holidays
Local activities include diving, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf, windsurfing and water skiing.

The area is a haven for fishing, both deep sea and coastal with many places offering equipment, boat rental and fishing trips. Try deep-sea fishing for Marlin off Boca Grande island, which is where the world Tarpon championships are held.
Charlotte Harbour is one of ‘Sail’ magazines '10 Greatest Places to Sail' and first class boating is available throughout the area. You can also explore waterways by canoe and cycle the many nature trails. Why not take the opportunity to charter a sailing boat with a skipper?

Travel
Besides being part of the ‘real’ Florida, our location is an ideal base for day trips to many local attractions if you want to explore. The ‘Everglades’ are just 2 hours drive to the south. Tampa Bay with ‘Busch Gardens’ is 90 minutes drive to the north – with one of the best theme parks for families. If you fancy the ‘Orlando’ experience, then Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World in Central Florida are only a 2.5 hour drive away.

If you are looking at getting away from it all in order to relax and unwind, 'Shabreeze' villa is somewhere you need to consider in this awesome part of the world that has so much to offer, but yet is so unspoilt. Everything is so close to you and convenient, yet peace, tranquillity and nature are literally on your own doorstep.

This luxurious villa is on the beautiful Cape Haze peninsular in Charlotte County. South Gulf Cove is mainly a rural community and has an 'unspoilt' feeling to it. The home is ideally located for the nearby sugar sand beaches of Boca Grande and Manasota Key, as well as those on Palm Island and Don Pedro Island, which are only accessible by boat. Countless options for swimming in warm/clear/clean/safe waters. Boat rental is easy and very popular. If you like sailing/boating, scuba diving/snorkelling, fresh or salt water fishing, then these amenities are all around you. Don't want to cook? So many fantastic restaurants exist in this part of the peninsular, catering for all tastes, but particularly fish-you just gotta try them. Want retail therapy? A huge shopping Mall (Murdoch Circle) is only 10 mins away in Port Charlotte. Supermarkets and other local shops are just minutes away from the villa, including a large Walmart on the 776 which stocks every imaginable item and is always open.

Booking notes
20% deposit is required on booking to secure the villa for your dates required. The 80% balance is required 10 weeks before arrival date. Refundable security deposit is £200. Payments can be accepted in either GB£ or US$ either via our fully secure Paypal account for credit/debit card payments, or via direct bank transfer to our UK or US bank accounts.
For bookings of less than 7 nights duration (min 2 nights), the rental charge shall be £120 per night, plus a fixed cleaning fee charge of £75.

"Search no further. The pictures do not do this rental property justice. It is a beautiful, spacious and immaculately clean home. Kevin, the home owner, is extremely trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. He has paid much attention to detail in his home, and it was indeed a pleasure to vacation in this house this past June. I wish I could have packaged it up and shipped it back to PA. The layout was perfect for our family of 4 teenage girls. Everyone had their own space, and every door led to the beautiful, enclosed pool and spa area. A fun time was had by all on this vacation. I highly recommend this rental property. I know I am going to regret that later on because you probably will rent the week I want! I definitely plan on returning to the Shabreeze again and again."
