The verandas at Villa Poppy are set up as external living rooms, and the garden is arranged to have different relaxation areas for each time of day, carefully placed to catch or avoid the sun to suit you at any time of the day. To the front of the property there is a huge front veranda with tasteful wooden furniture, drop down sun screens, built-in fire / BBQ and outdoor dining set. To the right of the villa is a large kosk style seating area, with wooden decked flooring, large comfortable floor sofas, wooden roofing and drop down sun screens. There is a 35m2 swimming pool to the front with poolside power shower and a large sun terrace surrounding the pool that leads down steps into the well established garden.

Bathrooms:
First en-suite bathroom with shower and sink on the ground floor. Second en-suite bathroom with shower and sink on the first floor. Third bathroom is a family bathroom with a bath, a shower and sink which is also on the first floor.
Kitchen:
Open plan kitchen with quality appliances, large fridge / freezer, oven / hob, dishwasher and the kitchen area has airconditioning. Behind the kitchen is an area for dining, with a large hand made wooden table and comfortable leather dining chairs.
Utility Room:
Large cloak room as you enter the property which houses the hoover, iron and board, towels, wraps and other cleaning equipment.
Living Rooms:
You enter the villa through the central hallway which leads into the open space living room, with a real bohemian feel and has a TV and DVD player. The living room is further connected to an open plan kitchen.
Other:
Superb top floor chill-out room perfectly placed for watching sunsets behind the Lycian Rock tombs.

Outside
The gardens and pool are well hidden amongst climbing bougainvillea making the grounds very private. As well as the relaxing seating kiosk there is a swinging hammock hidden between citrus fruit trees.
Coast/Beach
Dalyan is best known for its lush greenery, the winding river and a beach which is not just a natural wonder but also won The Times Best Open Space Award in 2010. Over 6km of golden sands with access by bus, car and boat there are cafeterias at either end for refreshments but plenty of empty space amongst the dunes to escape to.

There is an amazing range of habitats in the local area; from the reed beds north of the town to the Koycegiz Lake. With many species of birds, from White Tailed Eagles to Red-rumped swallows, expert birders and amateurs would struggle not to have a great birding holiday.We can organise guided walking tours through areas. Walking groups taking international excursions are aware of the amazing possibilities available to walkers and ramblers in and around Dalyan, Turkey.There are a number of great walks to be done in the local area; from the walk up to Candir and Kaunos over stunning mountains and rock tombs, to the Liquid Amber Fosrets of Dalyan.The Famous Lykian Way walk of 300+km across the southern coast of Turkey, is a trekking holiday for the hardcore (especially in the summer).
How to get there
The nearest airport is Dalaman which is a 20 minutes drive away. Once in Dalyan car hire is not essential we are very central to town and town itself is small and everything in easy walking distance.
Distances
Everything is within walking or cycling distance in Dalyan. This villa is only a 2 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, and it is the same distance to local restaurants, bars and cafes and the river. Fethiye and Olu Deniz are 50 minutes drive away. Marmaris is about 75 minutes drive. Both of those towns also have ferries to Rhodes.
Further Details
Dalyan town itself is compact stretching only a mile in any direction from the centre and is framed by a glorious backdrop of pine clad mountains in every direction. The flatness of town make it a perfect place for walking with children and the elderly and a delight to cycle around. For more active holidaymakers there are forests and hiking hills all within walking distance. Dalyan is also distinguished by the lack of package tourists though there are still plenty of bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. If you can’t find the items you want in the shops there is a sweet local market on Saturdays.

100gbp breakages deposit is required, refunded after departure inspection.
