This brand new, spacious 2 bed apartment has super views and a very bright, sunny feel. The large pool, gardens and communal areas are attractive and well finished. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk away. The apartment is fitted out to a very good standard with everything you could need for a holiday, all brand new. All the amenities of Altinkum are on your doorstep including beach front restaurants and bars and plenty of shops. There are also authentic [and very cheap!] Turkish restaurants for those who want to experience the real Turkey - these tend to be set further back away from the sea front. There are a variety of cultural sights that are in easy reach of Altinkum such as the Temple of Apollo, the ancient city of Ephesus, the spectacular beach and temples at Dalyan.

Notes on accommodation
Buena Gardens is perfect for family groups, couples or friends holidaying together. Based on the second floor of the brand new apartment complex, the balcony looks over the swimming pool, and the nearest beach is 10 minutes walk away.
The apartment is suitable for children, but they would need to be monitored on the balcony, and in the swimming pool area.
Accessibility
Stairs lead up to the apartment on the second floor.
Outside
There is a large wooden table and four chairs on the balcony, for alfresco dining or sipping your favourite cocktail at sunset.
There is a large shared swimming pool and separate kiddies pool which is available exclusively to guests of Buena Gardens.
Coast/Beach
'Second Beach' is only 10 minutes walk away, with 'First beach' being another 5 minutes walk along the seafront.
Golf
A new golf course is planned for Altinkum in 2008.
Travel
Fly to Bodrum or Izmir airports. Altinkum is about 1.5 hours away from both. Buses run from the airports, you can take a taxi [easily available], hire a car from the airport, or we can arrange your transfer.
Distances
The Aegean cost is particularly attractive due to the fantastic views over to the Greek Islands and Bodrum Peninsular. There are also a large number of sights of historical interest such as the ancient city of Ephesus [highly recommended], Temple of Apollo, and temples at Dalyan. There are also areas of outstanding natural beauty such as Dalyan and Pammukale. All of these locations can be visited as a day trip, either by hire car, or through the many organised tours that are available in town.
Further details
Altinkum has three safe, clean, gently sloping sandy beaches ideal for families. It is a lively resort with bars, restaurants overlooking the sea [international food], night clubs, a night market and a good weekly market in the main town area every Saturday. Away from the beaches there are some good quality local restaurants selling authentic Turkish food at very good prices - ideal for those who like to experience the real Turkey.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required when you book, the balance is payable 6 weeks before your departure. For bookings made lass than 6 weeks before departure all monies must be paid in full.

We live in South East London, with our two cats Taz and Bailey. Linda is the head teacher of a large primary school, and Steve is a freelance marketing consultant. This flexibility, plus the school holidays, allows us to visit our properties regularly and make sure that they remain in excellent condition. We treat our properties like our own home - so you can guarantee that everything is working properly, is well maintained and very clean.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The Turkish people are genuinely friendly, and the waters of the Agean are remarkably clear and clean. Altinkum has 3 fantastic sandy beaches ideal for families. Being outside of the Eurozone means that your money goes that much further in Turkey - making it a very cost-effective country to take a holiday.
Unique benefits of the property
Buena Gardens is situated in an area known as Hunters Valley, so it is close to the main beach, but also set back far enough so as not to be effected by noise from the resort. Its location also makes it accessible to the shops and restaurants in Ataturk Boulevard, as well as being walking distance from the Saturday market. You can easily catch a dolmus (bus) up Ataturk Boulevard - all the way past the Temple of Appollo to the water park. Alternatively you can catch the dolmus travelling the other direction to the quiet resort of Yeselkent.
