On the second floor is a large 18’ by 15’, air-conditioned lounge leading to 2 roof terraces with tables and chairs and extensive views over the harbour, mountains and the town. The house is surrounded by private gardens with a private pool and 400yds2 of stone terraces with sunbeds, tables, chairs and umbrellas.

Accessibility
Kalkan is, in general hilly, and the stone terracing although protected, can be unsuitable for the very young or old.
Outside
There are 300m2 plus of travertine terraces around the villa with shady and sunny areas. In addition the half acre plot has beautiful gardens but the focal point of the gardens is definitely the huge 15m x 7m pool with its extensive sun terracing. Lots of loungers tables chairs and umbrellas.
Coast/Beach
A 5 minute stroll down the hill will bring you to the town beach, though as the crow flies it is a mere 200m to the sea. Kaputas beach, a small but perfect cove at the end of an impressive ravine on the Kas road is 5 mins by car. Patara beach, 12 miles of white sand, is 20 mins by car.
Special interest holidays
This part of Turkey backed by the Taurus mountains has wonderful walking and guests with a passion for nature will love the landscape. The Lycian way passes through Kalkan. Literally hundreds of ancient sites within an hours drive.
Travel
Car definitely not required to stay at Jasmine Villa. Dalaman airport 1.5 hours 85 miles and Antalya airport 3 hours 150 miles.
Distances
Kas is a pretty harbour town 25km away. Xanthus archaeological site 12km. Fethiye town with big markets and harbour is 45mins by car.
Further details
There is a multitude of dining places from cheap kebab stops to fine dining establishments. Too many to choose from really. There is bank with cashpoint and post office and other places to change money. Any number of agents will organise trips of various kinds.
