The villa is part of a small number of villas and apartments built by an English builder on a prestigious site on a hillside just on the outskirts of Yalikavak in 2007, a traditional Turkish fishing village on the Northern (quieter and less commercialised) coast of the Bodrum Peninsula. It is a perfect retreat for those more discerning of travellers, looking for a quieter holiday but in easy reach of the hustle and bustle of Bodrum. Renting a car is useful although taxis and the local transport system (Dolmus) are available. The property is a triplex unit with an identical villa attached to our property and a penthouse apartment on the third level. The villa also benefits from being close to the communal pool. The pool patio is at the 'bottom of the garden'. The property has use of communal bbqs around the pool. There is a communal wireless internet connection on site, available to use, although the connection is not our responsibility. Wi-fi access is available in the village.

Accessibility
As the villa is built on a hill the area may not be suitable or people with mobility problems or for very young children.
Outside
There is a shared infinity pool and shower for use by the guests together with shared bbq's around the pool.
The villa has its own private garden overlooking the pool.
There is a ground floor terrace accessed from Bedrooms 1 and 2. Half undercover for shade during the mid day sun. Patio table and chairs on this terrace with seating for 6 people together with parasol.
Balcony accessed from the lounge with outdoor wooden seating and coffee table.
Separate balcony accessed for the dining room (usually used for drying the washing).
Sun lounger cushions, for your comfort, for use on the communal sun loungers around the pool.
Two large beanbag cushions for lounging in the garden.
"Woggles" for relaxing in the pool.

There is a small beach and beach bar a 5 minute walk from the villa.

Airport transfers can be arranged, if required.
Distances
30 mins drive to Bodrum centre.
10 mins to Gumusluk.
15 mins to AquaPark at Ortakent.
Further details
There is a small shop nearby and there is a local Migros store at the Marina and on the way to Gumusluk (approximately 5/10 minutes drive).
There is also a family run restaurant within walking distance.

We are a couple living in the UK. We bought the villa in 2007 for our personal use and for our family and friends use. We have now decided to open our second home up to the rental market.

We toured the Bodrum peninsula prior to finding this amazing property. As soon as we went out onto the balcony we knew our search was over. We had found our ideal holiday home.
