Villa Jasmine nestles amongst the lovely gardens of an exclusive hillside estate, surrounded by roses, bourganvillia, jasmine, palm trees and lemon trees. There are two private patios overlooking the garden, pools and Gocek Bay. The accommodation is spacious and the furniture reflects Turkish style and comfort. The Villa is within a 10 minute walk of Gocek town centre and offers a quiet luxury retreat away from the hubub of bars and night life. The whole estate is privately run and is very well cared for by a team of gardeners and manager. Walking around the gardens is a joy and the pools areas are never busy and provide loungers, chairs and tables and umbrellas. Just spending a day by the pool is relaxing with views all around of the mountains and the bay. The rear patio is equipped with further seating and barbecue and is a great refuge from the sun. The roses planted around flower most of the year and the lemon tree provides fresh fruit for your gin and tonic!

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with king size bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bedroom 3 with king size bed. Bedrrom4 with single bed The large settee in the lounge converts into a double bed very easily. |
| Bathrooms: | Bedroom 1 has an adjoining bathroom with shower, wc and washbasin and built in cupboards. Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 have ensuite facilities with shower wc and washbasin. |
| Kitchen: | Modern fitted kitchen with large fridge freezer, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and oven, electric kettle and toaster. Plenty of good crockery, cutlery and glasses, saucepans etc. Everything you need and a door and hatch to the covered balcony. |
| Utility Room: | Downstairs is a laundry area with washing machine, airer, ironing board and iron and the combi boiler for heating and hot water. At the rear is a storage shed for cleaning equipment and barbecue and charcoal etc. |
| Living Rooms: | The large lounge is tastefully furnished with comfortable settees, armchair, local cushions and wall hangings. There is TV with satellite access, DVD, stereo a selection of reading books and films. Dining area with table and chairs leading to the balcony. |
| Other: | The covered balcony is perfect to eat out all year and has fantastic views, furnished with cane table and chairs with comfy cushions. Other outside furniture includes loungers with cushions and a further set of table, chairs & umbrella on the rear patio. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
The villa is prepared for your visit with bedding, towels, tea towels etc. all included. Cleaning and linen change weekly, but plenty of spares if needed, additional cleaning etc easily arranged. |
Notes on accommodation
The large grounds of the estate make this a very luxurious and tranquil setting, the design of the villa allows it to stay cool in the summer months. There are a number of steps in and around the villa and the marble floors and stairs need extra care with very small children. The villas are arranged in pairs on a landscaped terrace and the other one on our terrace is owned by a famous actress from Istanbul, she only visits for about a week a year and we have never seen her yet! So this makes for a very peaceful and private setting amongst mature gardens.

Accessibility
Because of the location and design, sadly the villa is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
Outside
Lovely mature gardens, two very large shared pools and established pine trees make this setting very beautiful and relaxing. The villa is very well equipped with outside furniture and loungers, barbeque, umbrellas etc. The pool is open from 1st May to 30th October and is cleaned every morning. The site staff are very helpful and will gladly supply lemons if our tree has none. They also take all the rubbish away and help with luggage etc.
Coast/Beach
The bay at Gocek is ten minutes walk or a few minutes by car. The local beaches are mostly fine shingle, Olu Deniz with its white sand is half an hour by car. The favourite of ours is the short ferry from Gocek Quay over to Gocek island for a few Turkish Lira. There is a beach cafe, safe swimming and an opportunity to explore the island itself. The ideal way to explore the 12 islands of Gocek Bay is on one of the many day Gulets which allow plenty of time for swimming and lunch for about £10.
Travel
Dalaman International Airport is 20 mins away and has flights all year from UK including Easyjet, Thomas Cook and many more. Car Hire is recommended but local taxis are very cheap and easy if you wish approx £3 to or from Gocek town. We can easily arrange airport transfers.
Distances
Gocek town is 10 minutes walk downhill, Fethiye is half an hour away by bus or car. This is a large local market town, a shoppers delight with clothes, leather goods and trinkets alongside fresh fruit, fish and much more in the bazaar. The seafront is full of local boats and cafes. Dalyan is a very interesting visit with the lycian tombs, turtle beach and mud baths all easily reached by local boats on the Quay there. A 40 minute drive or trips easily booked with any local agent in Gocek town.
Further details
Gocek is known as the Monte Carlo of Turkey with exclusive marinas, a stunning seafront with fantastic views of the bay and a large selection of restaurants serving fresh seafood and international cuisine as well as Turkish specialties. The town has plenty of shops, two large supermarkets and a famous local market on Sundays all year. Banks, souvenir shops and even a tailor, travel agents, car and yacht hire can all be found here. The walk around the waterfront is always exciting, plenty to see and the Super Gulets pick up their guests from the Town Quay. The private yachts of the Istanbul tycoons are often moored here and plenty more bobbing at anchor in the bay. The businesses are all locally run and the staff are friendly and helpful, we have always found them charming and honest.
