Villa Rosa is situated in the outskirts of Dalyan in the province of Mugla, on the South-Western Mediterranean and is set in the centre of a broad delta whose natural beauty is completely unspoilt. This is one of the surviving corners of paradise, an area of outstanding natural beauty and historic interest. With its ancient history still continuing since ancient Kaunos, you will be amazed at the breathtaking views of the lake and the famous Turtle Beach and marvel at the many local attractions such as the 5000 seat Roman amphitheatre and the legendary Lycian rock tombs. The area boasts over a 100 rare species of birds, thermal springs and natural healing mud baths. As well as spectacular channels weaved like a labyrinth, surrounded with reed beds and endless golden sands. How well this all fits in with an array of relaxed bars and traditional restaurants is something you will want to sample again and again.

Changeover day
This is flexible but does depend on arrival of next guests. We could aways arrange an overnight somewhere close if need be! Please contact the owners direct to discuss your requirements.
Accommodation

| Kitchen: | New fully fitted kitchen (replaced in 2011): dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven/grill, all crockery and cutlery, pots, pans etc. Microwave, electric juicer, toaster, panini toaster. Place settings for 12 people. |
| Utility Room: | Automatic washing machine, ironing board and iron. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room has two large sofas, TV with basic Sky facilities, DVD player, a stock of DVDs, dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. |
| Other: | A further enormous living room, galleried by the upstairs landing and patio doors on three aspects, contains further seating, a mountain of floor cushions, a stereo (to which you can attach your ipod) and a full sized pool table. |

The garden is well maintained and secluded. All linen and towels are included (including beach towels). A weekly clean is provided and further cleaning or a daily maid service can be arranged. Pool and garden maintenance is daily. |

Notes on accommodation
The owners also provide the use of four bicycles, a safe, wireless internet connection, hairdryers, a well-stocked book shelf, board games, DVDs, small charcoal and a large gas barbecue.
Accessibility
This property is not suitable for those in wheelchairs.
Outside
The private pool is 13 x 3 metres and at a constant depth of 1.6 m. There is ample sunbathing area on the marbled terraces with eight sun beds all with cushions. There is also a small children's pool and it is all set in a lovely private lawned garden with flowers and fruit trees.
Coast/Beach
Iztuzu beach is a 20 minute relaxing trip by water taxi. It can also be reached by a local bus or taxi, this also is 20 minutes journey.
The beach is a protected area due to the fact that loggerhead turtles hatch their young there. It is also very unique with fresh water one side of the sand and sea the other, it is over 7km long and reputed to be one of the best beaches in Turkey.
It is very gently sloping and quite safe for swimmers of all standards.
Golf
There is a golf course under construction within 20 minutes drive or by taxi. Course opening date is estimated April 2011.
Special interest holidays
There is an abundance of activities suitable for all tastes.
For those who want to be totally active we can arrange through our local guides, a full one week "activity" package.
If you like the water you can hire sailing boats, or join an organised cruise to explore the local bays or lake by day or night, under the stars.
Try your hand at a Turkish cooking course.
Be escorted by a local expert, to glide slowly through the lake to spot the local bird and wildlife.
Learn to paint in wonderfull natural light, the local splendid scenery.

Travel
Your destination airport would be Dalaman Airport which is served throughout the year by many well-known airlines.
Private transfers from the airport direct to Villa Rosa can be arranged on your behalf and journey time is no longer than 25 minutes.
Please feel free to ask for assistance when booking flights or arranging transfers from the airport, as experience has shown us where best to look for the cheapest prices!
Distances
Larger town such as Marmaris (1 hour), Fethiye (45 minutes) and Olu Deniz (1 hour) are accessible by car, bus or taxi.
Further details
Dalyan is well served with all the amenities you may need.
Within a 5 minute walk you can reach supermarkets, a bank, post office, doctors and chemist and an array of restaurants, cafe's and bars, many with live music.
Luckily there are no Nightclubs in Dalyan!
Our local agents Kaunos Tours are office based in the middle of town and are on call for our guests 24 hours a day to help and assist you in anyway. They have fantastic local knowledge and just as importantly are our friends and they soon will be yours.
Trips can be arranged from the Villa to include:
White water rafting, mountain biking, sea or lake kayaking, jeep safari, canyoning or trekking, microlight flights.
Day or night cruises. Diving, sea fishing and crabbing which is a must. Try the local thermal springs and mudbath or a traditional Hamam or Turkish Bath.
Market day in Dalyan is a Saturday but is also found in other surrounding town and villages (but be prepared to haggle).
Dalyan is also well served with shops selling local produce, cheap leather, jewellery and other goods.
Booking notes
We will require a 25% deposit and payment in full 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Longer term and off season rental tariffs are subject to negotiation with the owners.
