The town of Kalkan is located on the Mediterranean coast line of Turkey and so benefits from sun shine nearly all year round, the villa also has the added benefit of breathtaking views of both the Taurus Mountain Range and Kalkan's Cosmopolitan Harbour. The villa can easily sleep between nine and eleven guest's in total comfort and style. Our villa benefits from a private pool with both tiled and metal entrance steps, along with a seating shelf within the pool for when you fancy a semi submerged cocktail or two, a pool side shower, eight wooden sun loungers surround the pool side all with with lounger cushions, side tables and accompanying umbrellas. There is a marble patio area outside with a breakfast table and eight chairs, to the side of the patio area is a portable gas BBQ mounted on a high level table making cooking a breeze. The villa boasts a beautiful garden with various types of tropical plants including a very nice banana tree, we believe!

Changeover day
Our change over dates at present are flexible, but we do require that you arrive at the villa no earlier than 14.00hrs and that you leave the villa on the day of your departure by 10.30hrs, this is to allow time for cleaning.

Notes on accommodation
There are ornate iron gates at the entrance to the villa, there are three car parking spaces available within the villa. There are also iron gates at the side entrances which make the villa child friendly and secure, within the villa there is an electronic safe and the villa is fitted with a security system for added peace of mind. Please be reassured, crime is unknown of in Kalkan but we have had the above features installed for our guests peace of mind.

Our property is not suitable for wheelchair users but we consider our property is suitable for both children and the elderly.

The villa boasts a beautiful garden with various types of tropical plants including a very nice banana tree we think!
Private Fresh Water Swimming Pool 52.2m2: Has both tiled and metal entrance steps, a long seating shelf within the pool for when you fancy a semi submerged cocktail or two, a pool side shower, eight wooden sun loungers with lounger cushions, side tables and accompanying umbrellas.
The Marbled Patio Area: Has a outside dinning table with eight accompanying chairs, to the side of the patio area is a Gas BBQ mounted on a hand made wooden table to make cooking a Breeze.
Coast/Beach
Our villa is within about 20 minute walk of Kalkans cosmopolitan harbor, and it's about 25 minutes walk to the beach. Both the above facilities are about a 5 minute drive if you prefer not to walk.
Golf
We have been told there is a golf course about an hours drive from the villa, but we can't confirm this or what the course is like to play as we haven't been there yet!
Special interest holidays
Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, scuba diving. Within a short drive of the villa you will find wind surfing, flying and amazing historical sites.

Distances
The town of Kas is about a 25 minute drive from our villa and Patara Beach which is listed as one of the top ten beaches in the world is only about a 20 minute drive.

An Insight Into Kalkan Good dining is a way of life in Kalkan, whether in the locantas among the locals where a meal costs a few pounds or by candlelight in the atmospheric harbour side restaurants or the romantic roof terrace restaurants for which Kalkan is renowned. Alternatively you can take a short trip into the hills and the pretty village of Ismalar with its trickling streams and springs and enjoy a dish of locally caught fresh trout traditionally cooked in olive oil.
Kalkan has an array of sophisticated antique shops, fashion boutiques, art galleries, jewellers, hand painted chinaware shops along with traditional souvenir outlets. Authentic hand woven Turkish rugs and carpets are also widely sold. Shopping in Kalkan should never be rushed and your host whilst browsing will inevitably offer you a glass of traditional Turkish tea. The maze of cobbled lanes that wind their way down to the harbour are perfectly complimented by bougainvillea-clad pensions, shops and restaurants.
If you plan to self cater, there are plenty of supermarkets in Kalkan from which to purchase food and consumables and many will deliver to the villa. There is an excellent fish market; butchers and stalls selling locally produced fruit and vegetables at a low price. There is a Thursday market selling a wide range of goods, from locally produced fruit and spices, to jewellery, leather-wear, souvenirs to clothes with fake designer labels.
A variety of Gullet cruises are available from Kalkan's cosmopolitan harbour and will often include a visit to Kaputas beach, Mouse Island, Snake Island (just the shape of the islands, not their inhabitants) and the Blue Caves to name but a few destinations, you can go swimming, snorkeling by the coral wreaths and even participate in a mud bath. The cost is approximately £10 per person for a party of ten and lunch is normally provided for within that cost, and the ship is at your sole disposal all day.

Booking notes
If you would like to book our villa we would require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental price, then eight weeks prior to your holiday we request that you forward to us the remaining balance of your booking including a damage deposit of £250 which is refundable two weeks after you return back from your holiday on the understanding no damage has occurred to either the villa or its contents. After a booking is made with us, we will send you a confirmation email.

The villa is in a fantastic position to benefit from one of the most beautiful views we have ever seen. The rooms were very spacious and tastefully decorated and the furnishings were to a very high standard. From the minute we stepped off the plane we felt looked after and this was all down to the villa manager-Albay. He has an excellent knowledge of the area and speaks brilliant english so is available to help with anything. This was our first holiday in Kalkan staying in the villa Breeze but I know it wont be the last.
