Coast/Beach
Ovacik is a mountain village surrounded by mountains and forests with shops and restaurants offering both Turkish and English food and is central for both Fethiye (10 minutes by Dolmus bus), Hisaronu (20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by Dolmus), or the beautiful beach and lagoon at Oladeniz (10 minutes by Dolmus).
Travel
Nearest airport is Dalaman which is approx 1 hour away and transport from the airport can be arranged. Local car hire and taxis are available at reasonable prices and the Dolmus bus is cheap and runs frequently.
Distances
Within easy reach of Ovacik are ghost town at Kayakoy, Saklikent Gorge, boat trip and mud baths on Dalyan river, market at Gocek and the small beach resort of Calis which can be reached by 'taxi boat' or Dolmus from Fethiye.
Further details
Fethiye is a harbour town with banks, shops, restaurants and bars set against a background of rock tombs, amphitheatre and crumbling medieval castle. At the harbour there are a number of boat trips on offer.

A non-refundable deposit of 20% per week is payable on booking. Balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival.
