The villa is part of a small number of villas and apartments built by an English builder on a prestigious site on a hillside just on the outskirts of Yalikavak in 2007. A traditional Turkish fishing village on the Northern (quieter and less commercialised) coast of the Bodrum Peninsula. It is a perfect retreat for those more discerning of travellers, looking for a quieter holiday but in easy reach of the hustle and bustle of Bodrum.
The price you pay for the views from every level is the steepness of the slope. The road is very inclined and would require a certain level of fitness to go up and down on. Renting a car is useful to avoid having to walk the incline. You can howver get dropped off by taxi at the top level, walk down to the villa. When you want to go out you can get the taxi to come up the drive so that you never have to walk up the slope
The property is a triplex unit with an identical villa attached to our property and a penthouse apartment on the third level.

Fresh bed linen and towels are provided on arrival. The villa will also be cleaned on arrival and departure. A washing machine is available for guest's use. Should you wish a mid-week clean or weekly clean during your stay, this can be arranged. |

Accessibility
Steep driveway.
Outside
The villa has a large balcony at lounge level, accessed by double doors from the lounge and dining area. From here there are probably some of the best views to Yalikavak and the Aegean.
There are private gardens at the lower level, again with sun terraces outside each sea-facing bedroom. Pool - a huge sunbathing terrace surrounds the fabulous infinity (shared) pool. Some sun loungers are provided for guest's use.
The pool has been carefully designed to maximise the view and looks as though it blends into the Aegean. At the rear of the pool, built in BBQs are available for all residents and guests.
Coast/Beach
3km to Yalikavak centre and beach 20 mins drive to Bodrum town. 15 mins drive to Aqua Park.
Golf
Large golf facility being built close by.
Travel
50 mins from Bodrum airport. 30 mins drive to Bodrum centre. 10 mins to Gumusluk.
Further details
Yalikavak has a multi-million pound Marina which is home to many sailing yachts from around the world. The Marina has an open air amphitheatre where concerts are held during the summer months. Yalikavak village itself has some wonderful restaurants, naturally specialising in local seafood, as well as many bars and shops.
