Set in unspoilt countryside with mountain and countryside views, it is difficult to believe that you are only minutes away from all the attractions of Bodrum and Peninsula resorts. A well maintained, quiet site, popular with groups of friends, families and couples, with 2 shared pools and sunbathing terraces. A large terrace opens out onto a lawned area and gardens. The nearest pool is just 3 metres away but due to setting has a good degree of privacy. New Bodrum Golf Club just opened 5 mins walk from Sunset and Bodrum's largest water park 5 minutes drive away. For larger groups a 2nd apartment can be rented sleeping 5 in 1 double 1 twin and sofabed in lounge. Set opposite across a lawned garden.

Accessibility
Maybe suitable for those of limited mobility with 3 steps to access the gardens and another 2 up to the apartment. Not suitable for wheelchairs.
Outside
The apartment is in a peaceful location but just 500 yards for the nearest taxi and dolmus stop. It has access to two shared swimming pools, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, panoramic views, a barbecue. If you are driving, there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
Coast/Beach
Sunset is approx 5 minutes drive from Bodrum's longest beach of Ortakent and a wide range of water sports and activities and 10 mins from the lively resort of Bitez. Sunset is ideally located for exploring all resorts on the Peninsula. This are has so much to offer both the returning and new visitor to Turkey. Historic sights - Bodrum Castle has a fine glass collection and one of the oldest recorded ship wrecks. A lazy day on a handcrafted gulet boat is a must whilst in the area.
Golf
The newly opened Bodrum Golf Club with clubhouse and 5 holes and driving ranges is just 5 minutes walk away. Non members welcomed.
Travel
Bodrum airport 40 minutes drive. Private air-conditioned transfers with English speaking drivers can be arranged direct with the owner, alternatively, car hire can be arranged. Although a car is not needed, it is a good for at least a couple of days as there is so much to see and do around the Peninsula of Bodrum.
Distances
5 min drive to Ortakent beach, Bodrum's longest and best beach. Bitez beach and resort 10 mins drive. 10 min drive to Bodrum town. 3 min drive to Bodrum's largest water park. 2 min drive to Ortakent village or 5 minutes walk. Bodrum Golf Club 5 mins walk. Kipa (Tesco) large supermarket 3 mins drive or 10 mins walk. Weekly fruit and vegetable market 5 mins walk. Dolmus and taxis offer cheap and frequent services to all areas.
Further details
Ortakent village offers 2 excellent family run bakers, a butchers, tailors, barbers, chemist and a handful of local grocers, lokantas and a colourful weekly street market. 2 large supermarkets are just 5 mins drive away for larger weekly shops.

58 pounds for a car for 4 persons and air-conditioned minibus at 75.00. Please specify on booking that you would like a private transfer.
Turkey has a wealth of history and sightseeing to be done and the magnificent site of Ephesus can be visted on one of the many daily trips from Bodrum, other highlights include Dalyan, Pamukkale, Didem, Priene and Miletus.
Booking notes
£100 deposit required to secure apartment and full payment 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of 100 pounds is payable with final balance (8 weeks before arrival). This will be refunded within one week maximum of check out date.

'We had a great time in this apatment. The owner thought about every single detail that you would need during your stay. They arranged a cot and a highchair for our daughter free of charge. The location was perfect for us, away from busy Bodrum.Ortakent village is beautiful, not commertialised at all. The local market was amazing. Camel beach is only 10 mins drive. The pool area is quiet and clean. Neighbours are nice and friendly. We recommend this apartment to famillies especially. Or couples who wish to relax and stay away from hustle and bustle.'
