| Apartment 3 has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 sofabeds in the lounge area and can accommodate up to 4 adults. The large bathroom comprises a toilet, washbasin, shower and bath. Bedding and towels are supplied. The well equipped kitchen has a refrigerator and table top cooking rings. There are two balconies, one from the bedroom overlooking the front of the villa and one from the lounge overlooking the gardens and pool area. | |
Notes on accommodation
Ideal for single parent family holidays, singles, couples or families.
Air conditioning is supplied in both apartments.
A child's paddling pool is situated alongside the adults' pool.
No morning check out time, check out time is when clients leave for the airport.
Accessibility
Apartment 1 has a few steps to the front door but may be suitable for reduced mobility holiday makers, however it has been used by a wheelchair user with limited walking ability.
Apartment 3 is up 1 flight of stairs therefore may be unsuitable for those with a mobility disability unable to walk stairs.
Outside
The villa building is surrounded by gardens. There is a barbecue area, kush and garden furniture along with sun umbrellas and sun loungers by the pool.
Coast/Beach
The area is home to the loggerhead sea turtles and has miles of sandy beaches. Beaches have a cafe, changing facilities and toilets on the beach.
Daily trips further afield are available to Marmaris, Gocek and others towns.
Travel
Flights are via Dalaman Airport and Villa Defne is approx 30 minutes from the airport. Transfers can be arranged.
Most UK airports fly to Dalaman.
Car hire is available but taxis are available in the town if you want to relax and let others do the driving.
Further details
There are many places to visit in the area including Roman amphitheatre ruins and a trip to the thermal mud baths. Try a Turkish sauna and a massage.
There are supermarkets, gift shops, a post office (PTT for currency) and a weekly market selling fruit, vegetables and gifts etc.
Many activities are available to book locally such as walking, wild water rafting, day gulet cruises, jeep safari. scuba diving, snorkeling, visits to other towns, Saklikent Gorge visit, barbecue and many more.

About the owner
I am employed by Local Government for the Environment. I hope to be able to let both of my apartments to anyone from singles to one parent families to couples, families etc and provide good, clean apartments in a quiet location, but very close to the town and its amenities, at an affordable price. All clients are assured of any assistance required from a reputable local family business that manage my apartments. I am also contactable to answer any queries clients may have before, during and after your holiday so they are not left feeling "left in the lurch". My aim is for clients to enjoy their stay at my apartments.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I visited Dalyan on a short visit during a Gulet cruise and was left feeling I wanted to see more, so I did. I returned to Dalyan the following year for a weeks holiday and fell in love with it. I realised Dalyan is a fairly quiet, pretty town with very friendly locals always willing to help, especially when trying to speak the odd word in Turkish. Hotels, villas, shops, restaurants all mix with locals fields of crops such as pomegranates and lemons, tended by the local farmers on their tractors. Dalyan is very close to local beaches and are well kept, no litter here. Taxis will take you to the out of town restaurants and bring you back to Dalyan free of charge. The hustle and bustle of a busier town, Marmaris is only a short bus ride away.

Villa Defne is in a quiet location yet within a few minutes walk of restaurants, shops, marina and town. The sun shines most of the day on Villa Defne and its balconies that overlook the mountains.
