This charming apartment, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean sea and coastline, provides an idyllic location for a holiday in Turkey. Guests can take in the beautiful and un-obscured panoramic views of Kalkan's Mountains, Village and Bay from the Apartment balcony where Al-Fresco dining and total relaxation can be enjoyed. The Apartment is set amid delightful landscaped gardens with the use of 5 pools. In a small complex, peacefully located, but not isolated, a 5 minute walk will bring you into the village centre, where you can enjoy the warm and friendly hospitality of Kalkan.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
There is a charge supplement of £50 per week if your party consists of more than 2 persons. We offer a discount for repeat bookings and lets for 3 weeks or more. November - April, prices negotiable. Please contact us for longer term winter or summer let prices.
Changeover day
Flexible. The Apartment will be available from 4pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of your departure. Depending on other bookings, it may be possible to arrive earlier or to stay later than this.

Towels and all linen are provided. Beach/pool towels are included. The Apartment is cleaned weekly including a full linen change. More frequent services eg mid-week clean can be arranged at guests own cost. |

Notes on accommodation
The Apartment is fully air-conditioned with mosquito screens for your comfort. Also, to further enhance your holiday we have provided for your use a selection of books, CDs and games. Sun loungers, mattresses and parasols for your sun-bathing comfort. A barbecue and full picnic set has been provided for 'away' days and poolside. Kalkan has a low crime rate, however, for your peace of mind, extra security on the Apartment has been fitted, along with a safe facility and a fire safety appliance. Cots and high chairs can be hired, please request for further details. For the comfort of all of our guests, we request that smoking is confined to the balcony.

The Apartment is situated on the first floor. No lift.

Coast/Beach
There is a small beach in Kalkan (10 minute walk from the Apartment) alongside the harbour, with invigorating hot springs. Also within the vicinity include the secluded Kaputas which is a 10 minute bus/car ride and Patara Beach is 20 minutes by local bus/car. There are several excellent beach clubs situated around the bay of Kalkan, and these can be easily reached by free water taxi from the harbour.
Travel
Nearest airport is Dalaman, 1.30 hours drive. Antalya airport is approximately 3 hours drive. If you would like us to arrange airport transfers or car hire, please contact us.
Distances
Kalkan is amid many places of interest, most are within 1.30 hours driving time eg Patara, Xanthos, Letoon, the sunken city of Kekova and the inspiring Saklikent gorge. Fethiye is a delightful harbour town lying in easy reach of Olu Deniz (the Blue Lagoon), Kaya Koy (the Ghost town) and Lycian tombs.
Further details
Built around an ancient Greek/Turkish harbour on the beautiful Turquoise coast, this small town has developed to provide everything needed by the modern tourist, without losing any of its charm and without being spoilt by tourism. Kalkan is an endless source of narrow, winding streets that twist their way down to the harbour. Despite its size, Kalkan offers a quaint village atmosphere with its shops (selling Turkish carpets, leather, spices, pottery, gold and silver), bars and many excellent restaurants. The locals are friendly and eager to please, without the hassle often associated with some of the larger resorts in Turkey. Everywhere is within easy reach of the clear blue Mediterranean sea, and boat trips can be organized. Nature lovers will find many walks and places of interest both within Kalkan and also in the vicinity. Farming surrounds the area, and a meal in the local trout restaurants set high in the mountains behind Kalkan should not be missed.
There are banks with ATM, post office, 3 supermarkets all within easy reach of the Apartment. Kalkan is serviced by tour operators, buses, coaches and taxis. Every Thursday there is an excellent market in Kalkan offering leather goods, silver, clothing, pottery, linen, fresh fruit and veg and much more.
Booking notes
£100 deposit (non refundable) secures the reservation. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. There is a free safe facility available, however, a £25 returnable deposit against loss of key will be required.
