‘Villa Beatrice’ is a private detached villa nestled amongst the hills overlooking the spectacular bay of Kalkan. 1 of only 8 villas occupying this superb position Villa Beatrice provides privacy, peace and tranquillity. This idyllic setting allows you to escape from it all yet enjoy all the creature comforts of home. The accommodation is furnished to an excellent standard and features full air conditioning, fully equipped separate kitchen, downstairs toilet and all the usual luxuries of a villa. The private garden, Travertine terraces and pool are split on 2 levels giving a separate eating/sunbathing area away from the splashing of the pool which can be lit in the evening for al fresco dining. To the side of the pool is a beautiful garden area with many stunning plants displaying an array of colour in the summer months. A shuttle bus service runs from the villa frequently allowing easy access to Kalkan (5 mins).

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning units can provide heating to 30 degrees if required. The villa can provide safety from the pool by locking the gate between the pool and the terrace area, however the terrace area is elevated and although fenced sufficiently to prevent danger children must be supervised. As long as children are supervised we would recommend the villa as suitable for families with young children. Provided are cot and high chair if required free of charge. The villa is situated approximately 2km from the town, with easy access via the shuttle bus service. Car hire, if required, can be arranged with a vehicle delivered to the villa for your convenience.

Accessibility

Outside
Private pool, gardens and terraces, with stunning sea and mountain views. Terraces are furnished with outdoor dining furniture, parasol, sun loungers and barbecue. Shaded outdoor seating and dining areas also form part of the extensive gardens and terraces.
Coast/Beach
The villa is approximately 2.5km from the small pleasant pebbled beach of Kalkan. Free water taxis are available to take you to one of the exclusive beach clubs scattered around the bay.
The secluded Kaputas beach is a 10 minute drive by car or taxi. Further afield (20 minutes by car) is the world renowned Patara beach with its 18 km of golden sands. Regular dolmus services depart to and from Kaputas and Patara throughout the day.
Travel
Approx 1 hour 30 mins transfer time from Dalaman airport. Transfers are competitively priced and can be easily arranged in fully air conditioned vehicles with English speaking drivers.
A regular, inexpensive shuttle bus provides easy, flexible access to Kalkan. Car hire can be arranged if required.
The local public transport service (dolmus) are cheap, frequent and reliable. Local taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced.
Distances
Kalkan and its array of restaurants and cobbled walkways is a short 5 mins drive from the villa.
The larger harbour town of Kas is approximately 20km.
Fethiye with is large outdoor markets is within 1 hours drive. Many places of interest including Kekova sunken city, the rock tombs of Myra and the stunning Saklikent Gorge are all within easy reach.
Further details
Kalkan has a weekly market on a Thursday where you will find an excellent place to buy the many wonderful local fruits, vegetables and spices. Small daily fish and vegetable markets can also be found in the centre. Daily excursions and trips of cultural interest are available from the harbour. The Greek island of Meis can be accessed via boat from Kas. Private hire of the boats and their crew are available for the day cooking superb 3-course meals during your sail. Nomadic village safaris can be arranged and paragliding can be found in Kas.

A non-returnable £100 per week deposit is payable on booking. Payment of the full balance is required 8 weeks prior to departure.
