Beautiful fully air-conditioned penthouse apartment with shared pool. This development was completed in 2007. It is a front-line beach property with many restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. The old town of Side hosts many quality restaurants which cater for all tastes. The fish restaurants are the equal of anywhere on the Mediterranean coast. Many overlook the quaint harbour or the sea to provide a stunning backdrop. There are many shops selling a host of goods including jewellery, gold, Turkish rugs and clothes at very attractive prices. Haggling is the Turkish way of life, and can be extremely good fun for foreigners who are less familiar with this way of trading. A weekly Saturday market is held in Side during the Summer months. It is a golf hot-spot as there are 9 fabulous golf courses within 25 minutes drive of the apartment. Courses designed by Nick Faldo, Colin Montgomerie, and Turkey's first links course have opened in the past year - all of them gems.

Changeover day
Sunday is the preferred changeover day, however, we will be flexible where possible.

| Bedrooms: | Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a private terrace where breakfast, sunbathing or evening drinks can be enjoyed in style. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. Fully-fitted wardrobes. |
| Bathrooms: | The upstairs bathroom has a large jacuzzi bath, shower, wc/bidet. Downstairs bathroom has a large walk-in shower, wc/bidet. |
| Kitchen: | Dining area seats 6. Fully equipped and well laid out kitchen incorporating a full electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher etc. |
| Living Rooms: | Beautifully presented open-plan lounge, with seating for 6, including a double sofa bed. Satellite TV, DVD and CD/Ipod player. French windows lead to a large terrace. Table and chairs make this an ideal alfresco dining area. |

Bedlinen and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Full cleaning after your stay is included. During your stay, additional cleaning and linen change can be arranged at extra cost. |

Accessibility
As the apartment is upstairs, it is not suitable for the elderly or infirm.
Outside
The development was completed in summer 2007. It is gated and has security staff 24/7 who are extremely helpful. The 20m communal swimming pool and beautiful gardens present a wonderful area in which to relax (pool open from April - November). Pool loungers and parasol provided. There is a small, safe children’s pool attached to the main pool and a swing park for little children. On the opposite side of the road is a football playing area which can be used by all of the family for exercise.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful sandy beach is 10 minutes across the sand on foot, or make use of one of the free beach buses which take 2 minutes. Swimming in the warm waters of the sea can be enjoyed, sun loungers and umbrellas are provided at the waters edge. Excellent food and iced drinks are served by the extremely friendly, multi-lingual staff at the various restaurants on the beach. Sea sports are on offer including para-sailing, jet skis, ringos and banana boats.
Golf
Turkey has been awarded Best Golf Destination of the Year - Europe 2008 by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators. There are 9 fabulous Championship Golf Courses in the area. Due to open in 2008 is the first links course in Turkey attached to the new 6 Star Lykia Hotel. Its dramatic coast-hugging holes are second to none. The Papillon Golf Club (designed by Colin Montgomerie) opens its doors in October 2008, whilst Nick Faldo's Cornelia Golf Course opened late 2006. They are wonderful tests for golfers of all levels. All courses have 5 star club houses. Other courses in the area include The Sultan, National, Gloria Old and New which have played host to PGA competitions over recent years. The best time to play golf is from September until the middle of June, but all year round golf is possible. All clubs have driving ranges. Golf clubs and buggies can be hired on the course. Skiing
During the Winter months skiing is available in Saklikent. The resort is 45 minutes from Antalya and approximately 1 hour 40 mins from Side. The resort has 5 runs, a cafe and a hotel. It is suitable for beginners and intermediates.
Travel
Antalya Airport, which is connected to most UK airports, is 40 minutes drive away. Regular flights can be booked through a number of carriers (e.g. via internet sites - flythomascook, sun-express, travelrepublic or cheapflights). Airport pickups can be organised by the owners in advance. Car hire is not essential, but highly recommended, for a couple of days, if you wish to explore the surrounding areas or for golfing. We can recommend car hire companies.
Distances
The nearest major town is Manavgat which is 10 minutes by car or bus. The beautiful cities of Antalya and Alanya are 45 minutes away. The golfing area of Belek is 25 minutes drive. Aspendos, with it's beautifully preserved amphitheatre, which still hosts many concerts in the summer months is half an hour away, with the fabulous remains of Perge a further 15 minutes drive.
Further details
Old and new sit side by side in Side. The wonderfully preserved amphitheatre, which is almost 2,000 years old still hosts summer concerts accommodating up to 15,000 people. It sits at the neck of the promintary of Side. Roman ruins surround the amphitheatre, with many more yet to be excavated from the surrounding sand dunes. Beside the harbour sits the ruined temple of Apollo where Cleopatra and Caesar met during their courtship. The small museum in the town houses many relics and provides a fascinating insight into the history of area.

Non-refundable booking deposit - 25%. Balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure. Refundable security deposit of £100. Guests should ensure that they have their own insurance cover for personal injury, loss of possessions, damage to property and cancellation.

The walking distance to town was not far & a very pleasant walk in the evenings. We had the pool almost to ourselves -so refreshing to go on holiday & not have to look around for a space near the pool! The staff were very friendly & helpful & always had time for a little chat as we passed them which made us feel very welcome. In regards to local restaurants, there wasn't one that we ate in that we couldn't recommend!
