Apartment Neyla is a contemporary 2-bedroom apartment with stunning sea views. It has the perfect location within Kalkan's Old Quarter, offering peace and tranquility yet is just minutes away from the vibrant cobbled streets filled with shops, roof-top restaurants and blues & jazz bars that lead down to the beach and the picturesque harbour. It offers spacious and comfortable living and has all the conveniences needed to make self-catering as effortless as possible, a real home from home. All you need to bring is your toothbrush! The accommodation comprises an open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge, together with a furnished balcony overlooking the pool with views of the bay, perfect for chilling out with a bottle or two! There are two bedrooms, one double with balcony and one twin and a bathroom with enclosed shower. Outside is a terrace area leading down to the pool, a great spot to enjoy al-fresco dining whilst watching the sun go down!

Bed linen, bath and tea towels, are provided. The apartment will be cleaned twice weekly and fresh linen supplied, bins are emptied on a daily basis. Please bring your own beach towels! |

Apartment Neyla is on the first floor, has insect screens fitted to all windows/doors and is fully air-conditioned, (air conditioning units can be used to heat if required).

Accessibility
Due to the number of steps down to the pool area, Apartment Neyla is not suitable for the less mobile.
Outside
Shared pool (between 5 apartments), with steps into shallow end, surrounded by well-kept gardens. Use of personal sun loungers and parasol. Small barbecue. Private off-road parking.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dalaman, 120km from Kalkan, transfer time around 90 minutes. Due to its location, a car isn't necessary for your stay at Apartment Neyla, though if you wish to explore this fascinating area further, hire cars are readily available within Kalkan itself, there are also many local tour companies who can arrange tours on your behalf. I would be happy to supply further details if required.

Further details
Kalkan is an idyllic picture-postcard resort, its winding cobbled streets full of vibrant shops, roof-top restaurants and bars combine with breathtaking views, giving a traditional yet sophisticated feel. During the day it remains a sleepy fishing village, where you can spend your time relaxing by the pool, chilling out at one of the beach clubs with their intimate sunbathing terraces or simply sitting beside the harbour sipping a long cool drink, watching the world go by. In the evening the streets of Kalkan come to life and you can while away the hours in a blues or jazz bar or enjoy a delicious meal, watching the sun go down over the harbour. The colourful shops sell everything you can think of and stay open ‘til late so there’s always time to catch up on your retail therapy!
There are also three banks, a post office, several supermarkets, a large weekly market, a couple of internet cafes and a pleasant pebbly beach. All this, together with the fact that there are over 100 restaurants and bars to choose from, means that you don't have to leave Kalkan at all during your stay!
However, Kalkan is the perfect spot from which to explore this area to the full and there is much to see and do. There are numerous historical sites to visit, all within an hour's drive and Saklikent Gorge is well worth a visit too. The bohemian town of Kas has some of the most interesting and unusual shopping opportunities along the coast, Fethiye, a bustling harbour town, has a colourful bazaar area and a trip to neighbouring Olu Deniz with its famous tear-drop beach is not to be missed! For the more energetic, there are many dive sites to explore, or you could try your hand at white water rafting down the Dalaman River and if horses are more your thing, why not spend a couple of hours trekking alongside the Xanthos river down to the pure white sands of Patara beach…
However you like to spend your time, there will definitely be something to suit you!
