Our apartment is a 5-10 minute walk to the Turgutreis town centre, bars, restaurants and beach. It has mountain views and is situated on a quiet residential road. Come and relax in the friendly atmosphere, the people are nice, the food's good and the water's warm; what more do you need? Our apartment is situated on the first and second floors with a pool shared by the 6 other apartments in the walled complex. The second floor has a large private sun terrace with sunbeds and chairs. There is a spacious living room that leads to the main first floor balcony, which is set up for al fresco dining. Air-conditioning units on the first and second floor keep the apartment cool in the heat of the summer, but it is generally a cool, airy apartment.

Changeover day
Arrival time would be around 1 - 2pm, too allow for the apartment to be cleaned.
Departure, we would like the apartment to be vacated by 12pm midday so it can be cleaned. If no-one else needs the apartment we could extend your stay by arrangement

| Kitchen: | Good size kitchen, with hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle, cutlery, crockery all supplied. Access from the kitchen is on to the balcony, where there is a table and four chairs to enjoy breakfast, lunch and or dinner. |
| Living Rooms: | Very good sized living area with air conditioning, two x 3 seater settees (that convert to double beds) and one armchair - there is no TV (too much to see outside, why stay in on holiday). |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are not included. The apartment is cleaned once a week. |
Notes on accommodation
The apartment has air-conditioning in the living area and the master bedroom, however, the building is usually cool and airy.
The apartment is situated just far enough away from the beach hotels and bars that you are not disturbed in the evening by loud music, etc.

Accessibility
The property is on the 1st and 2nd floors; access is by a winding staircase; not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
The pool is shared with the 5 other apartments in the private walled complex. The pool is not heated.
Coast/Beach
The beach is approximately 5-10 minutes walk from the apartment; it is the same distance to the local town, market, bars, etc.
Travel
The nearest airport it in Bodrum and is approx 48km. It is possible to hire a car from the airport, but would suggest pre-booking before arrival (Hertz is one of the cheapest). We can arrange for a local man to collect you from the airport (depending on size of party), he will of course charge for this service. There are car hire places in Turgutreis if you want to venture out, otherwise there is the dolmus service, which is cheap and effective.
Distances
Turgutreis town centre is approx 5 -10 minute walk.
Bodrum is the major town on the peninsula and is approx 21kms from Turgutreis. There are other places to visit if you wish, ie. Gumusluk, Yalikavak, Gumbet, Ortakent, all along the coast and easily accessible by Dolmus (small mini buses) Dolmus from Turgutreis into Bodrum 21km would cost you around 3 lira per person which is around £1.40
Further details
There are numerous supermarkets off the main road through the town, people there are very friendly and will point them out to you. There are lots of shops in the town and you can buy almost anything (Saturday is market day and this is the biggest market on the peninsula, but get there early, very busy and lots of bargains to be had), there are also places where you can change your currency into lira if needed; they usually give a better rate than you can obtain from the travel agents and banks in the UK or at the airports.
There are numerous trips that are available during your stay, with local tourist companies, for example - Ephesus (Turkish -Efes) - is a Ancient Greek City or Pamukkale (meaning Cotton castle) is a hot water spring with a large mineral content. All reasonably priced.
