Villa Kaya is in the sought after area of Kisla in Kalkan, near the luxury resorts of Patara Prince and Villa Mahal. This luxury , 5 bedroom villa with private pool has been maintained to a very high standard and occupies an unrivalled position with fantastic sea views over Kalkan Bay. This vista can be enjoyed on all 3 levels, from the private pool, the dramatic back terrace and perhaps most strikingly from the large roof terrace. The villa is fully air-conditioned and accommodates 10 people with its 5 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (1 en-suite) and well appointed and modern kitchen. The interior has been designed to be spacious and cool and the outside terraces enable you to make the most of the outdoor lifestyle. Within walking distance is Kalkan Beach Club with its restaurant and bar, 2 restaurants and a mini-market. Kalkan with its array of shops and restaurants is 25 minutes walk or a 5 minute drive away.

Prices are for the property per week (7 nights) in UK pounds. Accommodation will be available between 1 January 2012 and 30 April 2012 and 30 November 2012 - 31 December 2012 but will be subject to discussion directly with the owners.

Notes on accommodation
The owners have included a prepaid mobile, with useful numbers inputted for the use of their guests. Villa Kaya is managed by an English owned local company based in Kalkan, who are on 24 hour standby in case of emergency and whose representatives attend daily to tend the pool, terrace and gardens.
Outside
Our roof terrace not only provides spectacular views over Kalkan Bay (especially in the evening), but also a further spacious living area with dining for up to 10 people on a large granite table, 2 sofas, coffee table and Weber BBQ. The pool terrace also has a dining area, a Weber BBQ, sunbeds with cushions and parasols. The large back terrace has an in-built seated area and unique water feature. All these different areas ensure that there is always some shade available from the mid-day sun!
Coast/Beach
Villa Kaya is only 200m from the Kalkan Beach Club, offering restaurant and bar and free water taxis to Kalkan harbour and a fantastic location for sunset swimming. Several other local beach clubs also offer free door to door collection and drop off. The well photographed Kaputas beach is only a 10 minute drive away, and the famous Patara Beach, boasting 18km of white sand is only a 20 min drive away.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dalaman (approx 1.5 hour drive) which is open all year round with direct flights with BA. Anatyla airport is also a viable option (2.5/3 hour drive). Transfer to and from either airport is usually by private taxi or minibus. We can arrange transfers and car hire from Kalkan, at very reasonable prices with prior notice.
Distances
Kalkan Town centre - 5 minute drive, 10 minute water taxi or 30 minute walk.
Kas - 35 minute drive.
Patara Beach - 20 minute drive.
Kaputas Beach - 10 minute drive.
Other famous local attractions are easily accessible, such as Xanthos (the capital city of Lycia), Kekova (Lycia's famous Sunken City), the ghost village of Kayakoy and the Saklikent Gorge.
Further details
The historic town of Kalkan was once a small fishing village, but now offers sophisticated dining, excellent shopping and a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all ages and especially for families with children. It has numerous high quality restaurants, many on roof terraces above street level, offering a wide variety of high dishes at very reasonable prices.
The old town boasts postcard pretty, narrow cobbled streets with small shops offering interesting antiques, crafts, jewelers, carpets and clothing. Here, the architecture is of whitewashed shuttered buildings festooned with brightly coloured bougainvillea. There are also several supermarkets offering free home delivery, banks and cash-point machines as well as specialist food shops selling meat, fish, vegetables, fruit and bread. A market takes place every Thursday in the Old Town.
This is a truly outdoor place, where the wonderful climate gives rise to a wide range of outdoor activities that are available, such as diving, snorkeling, canoeing, water skiing, sailing, para-gliding and windsurfing. The bustling harbour offers boat trips exploring the beautiful coastline and the crystal clear, warm waters of the Mediterranean.
Booking notes
A non-refundable 25% deposit will be required to secure booking. The balance paid 8 weeks prior to 1st day of holiday. We reserve the right to re-advertise dates if the balance has not been received by the due date. We also require a £200 breakage deposit which will be returned subject to no breakages, damage or losses, within two weeks of the final day of the holiday. Flights are not included in the price of the villa.
