This luxury, private house in Dalaman is perfect for those who want an enclosed private residence with beautiful walled gardens and pool. 20 minutes from the airport, this high spec luxury house is well situated close to three beaches. A 15 minute drive from the scenic port of Gocek with shops, restaurants and nightlife. Only 30 minutes from Fethiye's beautiful town and port, and Dalyan's, bustling shops, restaurants, night life, historic tombs and protected Turtle beach. The property was built as a luxury home (not a holiday villa) and is furnished to a high standard. It sleeps 6 people in 3 large air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms (one with a cot). The third bedroom is outside the house and has a kitchen shower and toilet next to the swimming pool.

Changeover day
Guests are required to leave the house by midday on the day of departure to allow for cleaning. On arrival guests can occupy the house from 3pm or other negotiated time. We seek to be flexible and try to fit with flight times where possible.

Notes on accommodation
The house is ideal for people/families wanting a high spec private residence for their holidays. Children will love the pool, pool table and other facilities, adults will love the beauty of the location, the quality of the accomodation and the safety that the walled garden provides. Although a car is required, this is mainly for short journeys to shops and restaurants or to explore the surrounding area with its many tourist attractions such as Dalyan, Gocek, Fethiye and nearby beaches. The boat trips are wonderful!
The house is managed by Ladybird Estates and the proprietors, Ruth and Sezayi are always close at hand to assist and recommend places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The area is a rich mixture of culture and attractions suitable for all age groups. The Turkish people are warm and friendly. The accomodation provides a standard of comfort and tranquillity that makes days out and about sometimes difficult to achieve!

Accessibility
This property may be difficult for the very physically impaired to access easily as there are stairs from ground level to the house. However, internally the house is wheelchair accessible as it is set on one floor.
Outside
The garden has a wealth of flowers,fruit trees, shrubs and grasses. It's development is an ongoing process! There is a large, swimming pool set in the centre of the garden and is surrounded by a marble patio area ideal for sunbathing. Sun loungers are provided with cushions if needed and an outdoor sound system for those who enjoy listening to music while swimming. There is a pool table, separate toilet and shower room facilities in the garden close to the pool (guests are requested not to enter the house in wet swimwear). Washing lines are available but not visible from the pool or terraces.The main garden traace overlooks the pool area and contains an open fire/barbeque and dining table for up to 6 people. Underneith the house is a cellar where logs are stored for winter use.Best of all an elderly tortoise named Raymondo resides in the garden and often comes out to visit - see if you can catch a glimpse of him during the summer months!.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are about a 5-10 minute drive away from the house and are sandy and child safe. Most beaches have a bar or cafe available for lunch. For those who really like to explore, there are some amazingly beautiful beaches to be found amongst the mountain roads of Dalaman and the views from these mountains can be breathtaking. The Turtle beach is a short boat trip from Dalyan, a 20-30 minute drive away and also worth visiting, especially in the very early morning to feed the turtles.
Golf
This is an area designated by the government to tourist development and a local golf course is currently being constructed only a five minute walk from the property. This cannot be seen or heard from the property and so does not cause any inconvenience.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dalaman and this is within a 15 minute drive from the house.
Distances
Dalyan is a quaint little town full of Turkish traders, shops, bars, restaurants and clubs. Several tourist attractions and agencies in this town so you will never run out of things to do there.
Gocek port is worth a visit for its amazing 12 Island boat tours, creative jewellery shops and fish restaurants.
Fethiye is only a 30 min drive away and is very beautiful and full of interesting wares for those who want to shop Turkish style.
Finally, for the clubbers, Marmaris is 1 hours drive.
Further details
Post offices and (oddly enough) jewellery shops are usually where money can be exchanged at low rates. Always ensure that you check the fridges before you eat in a restaurant as this is the best way to determine that you are eating fresh food. If you want to do some exploring then don't go to Turkey in the peak season as it is too hot to healthily walk all day.

A deposit of £150 will be required to secure the booking and payment should be made, at the latest, two weeks before leaving to stay in the Dalaman house. Extra services can be provided such as airport transfers and cleaning services, these should also be booked after making the reservation.
