| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and bedlinen provided. Ironing board and iron. Hair dryer. The villa is cleaned prior to your arrival, for 2 week stays extra bedding and towels would be provided. |
Notes on accommodation
A Tea Garden is within walking distance of the villa which sells fresh bread,milk etc. Bus services are limited and a car is essential at present. As this is a developing area there is a possibility that building work could be taking place. At this time there is no work taking place within 500 yards of the property.
The pool is 6ft deep with steps leading into it, with no shallow end. This is our second home and we respectfully request that you treat it as such, and leave it in the same condition as you find it. Smoking is not permitted inside the villa.

Outside
Fully enclosed property with lockable front gates. Large private 8m pool, outside dining terrace and barbecue, with table, chairs and sun beds. Secure parking for 2 cars on the property.
Coast/Beach
Local beaches 10 minutes drive from the villa, Akbuk Bay is a 30 Minute drive or there are 3 beaches in Altinkum which again is a 30 minute drive. All beaches have been found to be clean and safe with crystal clear water.
Travel
Bodrum is the nearest airport approx 50 minutes drive from the villa. Izmir international airport is approx 1 hour 30 minutes drive from the villa. We have found the earlier you book your flight the cheaper its is.
Distances
Akbuk village is about 20 kms from the villa where there are many shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Altinkum resort is about 20kms from the villa, where you will be spoilt for choice of restaurants, shops and supermarkets.

Booking notes
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required within 1 week of booking, the remaining balance is due 9 weeks prior to departure date. A refundable damage deposit is also required of £100 at the time the balance is paid.
Guest comments
Our family of four stayed at the comfortable and friendly Ruya villa for a week. It was a perfect place to relax, bathe in the morning sun on the deck and lounge beside the pool in the afternoon. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use to cook the freshly caught sea bass. We especially enjoyed the daily walks to the local Tea garden for bread & basic Turkish lessons.The villa is neatly located close to roads to the finest archaelogical sites on the Aegean coast, beaches & great hiking.
