Apartment Manzarali is one of 9 in a modern, well kept block in the select area of Kalkan known as Kormurluk. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Both apartments offer unrivalled views of Kalkan bay and harbour. It is a 15 minute leisurely stroll to the shops and restaurants in the 'village'. The apartments can be rented either separately or together.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover days are Monday and Saturday but this can be flexible if agreeable to both parties.

Notes on accommodation
The living area and both bedrooms have a dual air conditioning/heating facility. There is a TV, DVD, CD player and a safe.
Accessibility
The fact that the apartment block is set over four levels means that the accommodation is unsuitable for very young children or for persons of limited mobility.
Outside
Both appartments have large front balconies with direct access from the living area and bedrooms. Each balcony has patio furniture including sunloungers, parasols, table and chairs and gas BBQ.
Shared swimming pool on the lower level with extensive patio and sun bathing area, poolside showers, toilets and uninterrupted sea views.
Coast/Beach
Kalkan itself has a small man made pebble beach next to the harbour. Around the bay you can find several beach clubs offering food, drinks, sun loungers, swimming and diving facilities etc. One of these, Club Patara, is close to the apartment and has excellent facilities which are available to day guests.
Kaputas beach (about 4 km away) is very picturesque and quiet (no facilities) whilst the magnificent 17km long Patara beach is easily reached by a 20 minute dolmus ride from Kalkan.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dalaman, which is approximately a one hour and 35 minute drive from Kalkan. Airport transfers or car hire can be arranged and will be recharged at cost.
Distances
The nearest major towns to Kalkan are Kas (30km) and Fethiye (84km). They can both be reached by public transport or we can help arrange car hire.
The historic sites of Xanthos, Letoon, Myra, Patara and Tlos are all within easy reach as are Kayakoy (the 'dead' city), Olu Deniz, Kekova (the 'sunken city') and the impressive Saklikent Gorge.
Two day trips to Ephesus and Pamukale leave regularly from Kalkan.
Further details
Once an old Greek fishing village Kalkan is now a friendly, sophisticated resort rich in traditional charm and character. A network of narrow streets and alleyways winding down to the harbour make Kalkan the prettiest resort along the Lycian coast.
Quiet by day the resort comes to life after dusk. For many visitors dining out in the evening is the highlight of the holiday - with a large number of excellent roof top and other restaurants, cafes and bars catering for all tastes and pockets. After your meal try shopping at the numerous boutiques and small shops which litter the alleyways. The resort has several mini supermarkets, banks, chemists, a Turkish Bath. and a post office.
Whilst I have no experience of the Turkish Bath I can certainly recommend both the men's hairdressing and the local dentist, both of these services being much cheaper than in England.
Komurluk has developed as the most select area of Kalkan, boasting a relatively small number of expensive properties. The Komurluk apartments have superb sea views which are neither distant nor patially obstructed and Manzarali, which is Turkish for 'with a view', allows guests a wonderful view of Kalkan harbour.

Payment terms:
A non refundable deposit of £100 per week on booking.
Balance of payment to be made six weeks before departure plus a refundable deposit of £100 for damage, breakages etc.

"My boyfriend and I stayed here in September earlier this year. The apartment was lovely really spacious and beautifully furnished. The apartment was more than big enough for us! The view from the terrace was fabulous and we ate all our meals outside.
Kalkan itself is a really lovely town. It still feels Turkish and has a genuine old-worldy charm to it.
There are also a lot of things to do in the surrounding area. During our time there we visited Patara beach, Saklikant Gorge and did a sea-kayaking tour of Kekova – the sunken city.
I would recommend anyone to stay here and we will definitely be back next year!"
