Large luxury detached Villa Riya recently built is set amongst the exquisite backdrop of beautiful clean countryside and mountains in a 585 sq.m. of land with a 30x13ft private pool and a small children's pool with jets. Own car park space. views from the large gardens/patio area, and the generous balconies across the valley floor onto the mountains, are simply stunning. This is a wonderful setting for a relaxing away from it all holiday to recharge the batteries and top up the tan, and if you can tear yourself away, an excellent base for a far more active holiday with key attractions such as Taurus Mountains Saklikent Gorge, Tilos, Fethiye, Hisaronu, Oludeniz, Calis and Patara Beach all being within easy distance by dolmus or by car. Less than 10 mins walk from the traditional village town of Kemer with a variety of local facilities including 24 hour doctors, chemist, medical clinic, bank, Post Office, Internet cafe, shops local restaurants and open air market every Friday.

Notes on prices
All prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Long stays available, please enquire. Return transfers from Dalaman airport can be arranged for £75 up to 7 people, for larger parties please enquire. Bookings for 2009 at 2008 prices being taken now. Don't delay, with fuel prices rising, it's cheaper to book flights earlier too.

Changeover day
Negotiable depending on other bookings. However, where we have back to back bookings at times, the earliest arrival time will be 2pm and latest departure time will be 10am. Where this cause inconviences due to flight times, please discuss options with us.

Accommodation

 

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning units in all rooms that also turn to hot air heating. There is also radiator heating in all rooms should there be a very cold winter! Garden lights, large patio/gardens and 3 balconies to enjoy the lovely views. One of our favourite evening times is to sit in the family balcony, enjoy the views of glorious sunset followed by stargazing or, the village and the hill top restaurant lit up.

Villa is very suitable for families and children as there are gardens to play in and large patio area. The immidiate area around the property has very little traffic. The location is well placed for low season holidays too, March/April months are warm enough to be in T/shirts and short during the day. The snowcapped mountiains glistering in the sun offer wonderful views. May June begins to get hot. October/November also good can be warm enough to swim in sea. Villa cleaned before arrival, maid service and mid clean can be arranged at extra charge.

Accessibility
The property is not specially adapted for wheelchair users, but may be suitable for children and people with only slight mobility problems. Eg both ground and first floor are the same level, pool area/sun bathing area are also same level. Dining patio area same level when accessing from lounge but has a step down/up to and fro pool area. Some garden areas are slight step up or step down. Ground floor shower room is same level.

Outside
Villa surrounded by lovely country style wall & iron gating on top that is high enough to be safe and private and low enough not to obstruct any views. Gardens to all sides with a car port inside the gates to the front of the property. The Private pool and patio areas have ample room for sunbathing, dining and enjoying the outdoor brick built barbecue. Small children's pool with jets provides additional bit of fun both for them and adults alike. Patio furniture includes 6 white sun loungers with mattress, sun brollies, dining table and chairs, 2 small tables, and food trolley. Both pools are cold water (lovely for cooling off in the heat) and are available from 1st May to 15th October. Depth of large pool is 5ft 5 inches at the deep end and 2 feet 5 inches at shallow end. Pool is sloped, so depth varies on the slope. Small children's/Jacuzzi pool is 2 ft 5 inches deep.

Coast/Beach
Oludeniz (40 min) is the most photographed beach in Turkey and is known as the 'gem of the Turquoise coast'. Many restaurants and shops as well as good range of water sports. A highlight is paragliding.

Patara Beach is about 45 mins drive, boasting 18km of pure sand. It is a national park area including ancient ruins, small entrance fee payable, well worth it.

Calis Beach 20 min restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, Sultan Aqua City aqua park 5 min from this beach

Travel
Dalaman Airport is just under an hour by car, if you would like help with arranging transfers let us know. Cost would be £75 both way for up to 7 people, We can also suggest some good websites for flights - please contact for more details. You will be provided with a free basic welcome pack if arriving at a late hour. Management company in Turkey can do 'meet & greet' if you reqire within 48hrs, they also provide lot of local info including car hire and booking tours.

Distances
Within walking distances (just over 5 minutes) to the village town and the hill top restaurant. 10/15 min walk to the newly opened Tesko store for good ranges groceries.

Dolmus (minibuses) run every 15 minutes in summer and half hour in winter to Fethiye and some other places. Other distances: too many to list here, would also depend on interest, some are mentioned in the further details below.

Further details
Kemer village town offers selection of shops, and open air market every Friday to meet most of your catering requirements, whilst offering you the opportunity to purchase clothing, household goods and gifts. You can also enjoy the local Turkish cuisine at an array of small restaurants. For more varied menu, visit the hill top restaurant boasting panoramic views, or the one located at the canal-side in the charming village square.

Places to visit: Saklikent Gorge is just 20 minute by bus where you can whizz down the river on a rubber ring stopping for a mud bath on the way or walk up the long gorge through the cooling waters. There are few restuarants on a platform over the river to enjoy a cool drink or freshly caught trout and other cuisine as well as Turkish pancakes. You can choose to stay overnight in the tree houses suspended high above the banks of the river and arrange dinner and breakfast. You are also able to buy souvenirs and other goods at the stalls around the river bank, and find good clean toilets.

Tlos 15 mins, the ruins offer spectacular views over the valley that date from the Lycians, through Greeks and Romans to the 15th Century. The site includes graves built into the rock side, an amphitheatre and a racetrack. Up beyond the ruins there are restaurants – one of which has a bar with trout swimming in a pool of icy water.

Fethiye 20 min the nearest main coastal town, a bustling working town with harbour. Here, you can book boat trips leaving daily including the 12 Island Boat trip. The harbour is lined with restaurants and stalls, and a huge choice in the town for shopping and eating, including a fish market where you can buy fresh fish and one of the local lakantas will cook it to your liking. The main bus station is in Fethiye to many destinations.

Hisaronu, 10 mins from Fethiye, a holiday resort nestling in the mountains above Oludeniz, packed with shops, restaurants bars and discos.

Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required upon booking your dates. Full payment plus £150.00 (refundable 2 weeks after holiday less any breakage) to be received by us 10 weeks before departure. Cancellation must be made in writing, following conditions apply. 10 weeks before departure date, full refund of deposit. 9 weeks 6 days before departure no refund of deposit. 8 weeks before departure 30% refund of total amount paid. Excluding deposit amount. Under 8 weeks before departure no refund.

Hiring a jeep was definitely a good way to explore the fantastic places and sights around this area, some were so near like the thermal spring and cave only 10 minutes and Tilos a must see.
