Our apartment is ideally positioned on the 1st floor, offering stunning, panoramic sea views from the living area, balcony and bedrooms, as well as beautiful sunsets. The apartment is part of a well-maintained, managed complex of around 50 apartments, offering a large communal pool with loungers, children's splash pool, gym facilities (free to residents) and a private beach area. The on-site management team is at your disposal for any queries or issues. The apartment itself contains 2 bedrooms, wc/shower room, kitchen area, living area and balcony. It is spacious enough to accommodate a maximum of 6 people (2 sleeping on comfortable sofa bed). Güllük is a traditional fishing village on the Aegean coast, near to Bodrum. It is currently undergoing some development to create a marina, but remains unspoilt, with many inexpensive traditional restaurants. Nearby Bodrum offers a complete contrast with its Bazaar (marketplace), excursions, nightlife, bars and restaurants.

Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is Saturday, although do please make an enquiry if you prefer a different day, as we may be able to accommodate.
Notes on accommodation
Both of our apartments contain modern, remote-controlled air-conditioning units, which also act as heaters if required. We also welcome well-behaved children and families, who will find everything they need for a perfect family holiday, however there are no special arrangements for babies.
Accessibility
As we are located on the first floor, our apartments may not be suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
Our apartments form part of a neat complex with maintained lawns, shrubs and Egyptian palm trees for the enjoyment of all residents.
There is a full-size communal pool with ample sun-loungers and a smaller splash pool for children, although residents may prefer to swim in the sea. The complex also enjoys (practically) exclusive use of a beach area a few hundred yards from the apartments. This beach area also contains sun-loungers and tables with a bar selling both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
For the health-conscious, there is a fully-equipped gym with an exercise bike and weights, which may be used free of charge by residents.
Coast/Beach
There is a private beach 5 minutes walk from both apartments. The beach is equipped with sun-loungers, tables and a bar selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There are also shower facilities.
Golf
Although there is no golf course at present, work is underway to create an 18-hole course in the Bodrum area. Please contact us for more details if you are interested.
Travel
Güllük is ideally located just 15 minutes' drive from Bodrum-Milas airport. From here it is possible to get a taxi transfer to the apartments or hire a car.
A small car can usually be hired for around £30 per day or less and we can recommend car hire companies. Although there is a good, inexpensive local bus (Dolmüs) service from Güllük to Bodrum and other larger towns, we do recommend hiring a car for flexibility and comfort, or for visiting some of the smaller historical sites nearby.
Distances
Gulluk town centre is walking distance away and offers two supermarkets as well as other smaller shops and market. There is also a wide range of restaurants and bars.
Bodrum - 40 km (25 miles)
Other places of interest that are a short-medium drive away are:
Marmaris - beautiful coastline and castle
Ephesus - ancient Greek city
Pamukkale (cotton castle) - natural site with hot springs
Further details
Gulluk itself contains two supermarkets, of which the most popular is "Migros", selling everything you need for your stay. If you prefer smaller shops, you will find everything you need in the area around the supermarket, from small grocer shops to greengrocers, butchers, bakers etc.
There are also all the local amenities that you would need such as banks (with cash machines), post office, English-speaking sports bar (showing major sporting events).
Gulluk also has a good selection of restaurants, ranging from small, family-run restaurants selling beautiful fresh fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, to larger, more international restaurants. For a special meal, our recommendation is "Fuego", a restaurant which is 5 minutes' walk from the apartments and which offers innovative menus, excellent service and value for money.
Further afield, in Bodrum, there are literally hundreds of restaurants with many types of cuisine, but our recommendation is the Yacht Club, which is open to everybody and offers excellent food, live music late into the evening and a buzzing atmosphere.
Bodrum has a castle, which is well worth a visit and there are a number of reputable companies offering excursions by coach to the many places of interest in the area. In addition to this, it is possible to take boat trips and cruises from Bodrum to view the beautiful coastline and small islands nearby (Greece is extremely close); these are extremely relaxing and worth doing.
Booking notes
25% deposit required within 7 days of initial request to secure booking.
Balance to be paid one calendar month prior to departure, along with £100 breakage bond, which will be refunded within 10 days of your departure, subject to no damage/breakages.
Depending on time of arrival, keys will either be forwarded to you prior to departure or made available via the site management office.
