Notes on accommodation
This light and airy apartment is modern and clean. Due to its beach front location you will benefit from the cool sea breezes even in the height of summer. There is also a remote and thermostatically controlled hot and cold air-con unit in the bedroom of the apartment.

Accessibility
The apartment is easily reached on the first floor but unfortunately has no wheelchair access.

Outside
The complex offers a large 100sqm communal swimming pool and separate kiddies plunge pool. Please note the pool will be closed from November till end of April. The apartment's front balcony overlooks the pools making this a suitable holiday rental for young families. Communal sun beds and umbrellas are provided for use by the pool. While if you prefer swimming in the sea, the blue flag Calis beach is just 50 metres away.
Parallel to the beach is the 6 km pedestrian promenade which hugs the coastline along to Fethiye. Whether you fancy an early morning jog or a cool drink in one of the bars enjoying the sunset, this location has it all right outside your door.

Coast/Beach
Due to the summer breezes Calis is not only a sun worshippers dream but a centre for water sports. Particularly popular are kite boarding and windsurfing with both beginners and the experienced. Fethiye is the regional diving centre. The most photographed beach in Turkey is in Oludeniz with its famous blue lagoon. Oludeniz is a 20 min drive or 40 min bus journey away. The lagoon is a designated Natural Park of outstanding beauty and is a big attraction for tourists, paragliders and sunbathers.

Golf
Courses under construction and ready for summer 2008, 1hrs drive away.

Skiing
As of winter 2008 the resort of Seki will be open from December through April. Seki is 1 hrs drive inland.

Travel
Dalaman international airport which is the 3rd busiest in Turkey and is open all year round is only 45km from Fethiye. Transfers take 45 mins and currently cost £30 for 4 guests sharing and can be booked at time of reservation. Larger groups and car hire availble. The main transfer day is Monday but there are flights daily from the UK to Dalaman. Airlines include Thomas Cook, First Choice, GB Airways, Onur Air, Turkish Airlines, Cyprus Turkish and Thomsons. Antayla airport is a 2.5hrs transfer.

Distances
Shops, restaurants and bars are all a very short walk. The state hopital is 3km while there are several private hospitals in Fethiye. Places of interest Fethiye 4km, KayaKoy 9km, Hisaronu (another lively tourist resort) 8km, Oludeniz 10km, Gocek 30km, Saklikent gorge (largest fresh water gorge in Europe) 35km, Dalaman 45km, Antayla 200km, Marmaris 135km, Bodrum 265km, Istanbul 800km.

Further details
Fethiye is the tourist and commercial centre for the region. Amenities include supermarkets, banks, shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, cinemas, hospitals etc. Activities available in and around Fethiye include water sports, paragliding, water rafting, Turkish baths, jeep safari's, pony trekking, blue cruises or simply sunbathing. Extras to arranged before holiday. Transfers too and from Dalaman airport from £30, welcome packs from £10, additional cleaning £35.

Booking notes
To confirm booking a 20% payment is required by debit or credit card. This payment is non-refundable. 8 weeks before your visit the balance must be paid. On arrival at the apartment, £100 must be paid to a member of Kaya Estate who manage the property. They will visit at the earliest convienient time (depends on flight times) and will refund £100 on departure when apartment is checked for damages. We request you book transfers with Oscar rent a car through us so we can give keys to your driver.
